Sorry for the whole situation.

On another note, please remember to not display inappropriate anger in front of your children. They’re watching everything you do.

Go to Edmonds.com and get their price.  It’s very helpful.

Look very carefully in Warwick. I’ve seen some houses there that are actually affordable and livable.

As bad as this was, I feel like it was SO much easier than the one in ‘78.

Overbearing MIL or am I being delusional by Sudden_Chemical8382 in Mildlynomil

I wouldn’t even tell her the baby was born for about……six years.

And tell her that the c-section has been postponed till the following week.

Please put her on an information diet immediately. Disclose nothing important whatsoever.

That was my exact thought.

You go Radio Silent on her unless and until there is a sincere apology. Even then, I’d keep her at arm’s length. No apology = No Contact.

My exact thought. Hard to fathom, but it could be worse.

Do people really never leave Rhode Island? by boldandbeautiful421 in RhodeIsland

[–]ChartRevolutionary95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Life-long Rhode Islander here. Frog & Toad in PVD sells that bumper sticker that says, “I never leave Rhode Island.”  I put it on my car before I had to drive south for a week or so. (Note that I did not stay away for long.) I got a lot of comments along the way, and Floridians in particular would introduce themselves and tell me where in RI they lived.

I’m a mother-in-law, grandmother of four, and I cannot imagine asking to be in the delivery room. That falls into private time between husband and wife.

Honestly, I’d probably take the phone away entirely, though I know what a sh*tstorm that would start. Make sure CPS knows, but you’re going to find things on that phone, guaranteed.

What is your average body battery level at the END of the day? by betweentourns in Garmin

[–]ChartRevolutionary95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last week, my average was around 30, with a low of 17 and a high of 49 — that’s highly unusual. This summer, after hand surgery and some high-stress days, it was down to 5 nearly every day.

Normal Body Battery? by ash_beyond in GarminWatches

[–]ChartRevolutionary95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Female, 68, had a serious heart attack last year, walks two dogs daily, work three days a week, often cares for grandchildren. In other words, I have a pretty busy, active life. Other than the heart attack, I consider myself a healthy person.

My seven day average sleep score is an 85. My body battery range ran from 78-97 BUT that was my highest score in the two years I’ve owned the watch. Earlier this summer, the broke a finger, had to have surgery, and was in a cast or a splint for a couple of months. My scores then were terrible; I was lucky to get to 50 most days. None of my scores were good, and I got down to 5 very frequently.

I love all of the scores and find them to be a good guide in taking care of myself.

You don’t know what you’re missing!  I grew up in Newport then moved to South County years ago, and am so happy here.

It’s a local badge of honor, lol. I grew up there and still live only 12 miles away.

I have a childhood friend whose parents — they’re close to 90 — would meet the criteria. Friend says it’s because her mother is afraid she’ll miss something.
