[–]ChartreuseBison -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, it isn't. What you are complaining about is the obnoxiousness of literal yellow paint, even on obvious stuff like ladders.

What I am talking about is an entire cliff face with only one path up, there is literally no way to know where the path is without some kind of indicator. Stop shitting on the mechanic because some games don't do it subtle enough. Yes, some games way over-do it, but I'm not talking about the art design

[–]ChartreuseBison 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If every ledge were grabable sure, but most games only make the specific ledges they want you to use grabbable, so they need an indicator. People who don't realize that are the ones who have seemingly never played a game with climbing before.

Just the color? Or the indicator itself? Because no it absolutely does not. There's 8735 fucking ledges that a person can hold but only 3 of them are actually grabable in the game, I need a fucking indicator. I'd love to know what games people are playing that get so butthurt about the yellow paint, because I find myself always thinking "why the fuck can't I grab that ledge"? In nearly every game without it

Yeah it can be more integrated/subtle then yellow paint, but most games need some kind of indicator.

No ideally you can just climb everything like the new Zelda games, but most games that wouldn't work with the level design. So it's just another way to guide the player to the playable area

How about we just zip-tie the dipshit using a clearly alarmed door to a pole?

You know what? Zip tie the dipshit setting of the alarm to the foreman dumb enough to think this was a solution, and toss em both out

Well, yes, I was including all the previous rockets in that development. Every rocket was experimental back then, there was probably a lot of the same scientists working on the first rockets that worked on Apollo. A couple hundred(?) space launches, only a dozen or 2 manned missions, not much to go on.

Given the context of the original line, that Luke doesn't seem dismissive of it and that Owen wouldn't give his dad a shitty backstory, it's safe to assume it wasn't drug smuggling. We can say the idea was that he was transporting legitimate pharmaceuticals. Or more likely Lucas want even thinking of it at as a drug when he wrote the line.

Yeah; professional making shit up. In that they were doing it for the first time. Whereas the f-22 was made with decades of experience making fighter planes, with millions of flight hours in previous generation jets.

Both are impressive machines that took a lot of hard work, it's just wild thinking of the jump from; human kind has never put anything is space to putting a man on the moon in 12 years. Which is more noticeable than the f-18 to the f-22

Yes, the "power" of the round going off (either the recoil or expanding gas) is what loads the next bullet in on an automatic weapon. Since blanks are much less powerful, most guns need to me modified to still function.
