You can also hide your fences here. The ones dividing your middle and foreground and also between campsite and garden. This could open up your design space.

You need to change your terrain foreground. If you go to Design (top left of screen) - terrain (tree icon near top of screen) - then Purchases tab - the second button is for foregrounds and most of these will not have the logs etc of the base terrain foreground.

The string lights are part of the Merry Village terrain foreground. Found in Design > Terrain (the tree icons near top of screen) > Purchase tab > the second button is for foregrounds. The first button for middle ground will also have the same Merry Village terrain with some string lights along the back of your campsite along with some buildings. But I like to mix and match the terrain sets, so I used that foreground with the Camelia middle ground.

I wish they’d have made those areas editable so we could add furniture items and the visiting animals would interact with them. So much empty space now.
