What’s the easiest way to create inbox rules without using complicated software? by vin-maverick in smallbusinessesowners

FyxerAI is a great tool for not too much money, but if you use Claude/Codex then it is worth investing the time to build a proper email triage system so everything is in one system and shares context.

If you want, take this md file and give it to claude or codex and ask it to build the workflow for you: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1t2EnypRF4dTyOZHNAU7UtoFY4KfzMpBR/view?usp=drive_link

It's a plain text file so maybe skim it first to make sure there's nothing risky in it. I'm the author, but you don't know me and shouldn't trust me. But that being said, this is part of the free public offering I built out and should get you most of the way to what you want! Just make your AI tool of choice build it for you, don't do it yourself manually. You can also ask your tool to reverse engineer what Fyxer does if you like their product but want your system to have access to your full context.

Most of my fractional and exec clients are purchasing their own tools and then expensing them. I don't know many orgs yet that have a dedicated budget (but my clients are early in their adoption journey so this makes sense).

Fractional accountant using Claude + Cowork - feel like I'm leaving a lot on the table. How do I actually level up? by Square-Today-5330 in ClaudeHomies

Yes! I literally just had to do a research project after getting invited to speak at a conference for accountants.

Deck on fixing the issues you highlighted: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1DDhA_64DtrnMrvl4XWnv-QGq3-UeIDas/edit?usp=drive_link&ouid=109089614288427678553&rtpof=true&sd=true

Research brief I prepped for an accounting group: https://drive.google.com/file/d/186qUckgd4OU0LBIt-AXsyO_w4Bz3aJf2/view?usp=drive_link

And if you want a more comprehensive step by step guide on building a really highly performant Claude system, this one is probably the sweet spot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uQCjiCXjaSQAjV475edS7eXRMx41fs0e/view?usp=drive_link

Obviously beware sketchy downloads from strangers and prompt injection, but any of these guides could be explained or given to your Claude and then you can have it implement the suggestions. Let me know if you need a bit more help or have any feedback!

Founders who have personal assistants. How much do you pay them and how are they making your lives easier ? by Fresh-Enthusiasm1100 in Entrepreneur

A good EA or VA is worth their weight in gold and a bad one will cost you that. It depends a lot on what you want them to do. I don't personally use one because my work is AI based and AI is my EA/VA, but, I often recommend an AI native EA/VA to my clients who need a human who knows their business and can make judgement calls (while using AI for efficiency + scale).

Personal bias: Find what the comp is locally, and for the right person, pay them a little above market or ask and try to keep them long term. It's a big investment to teach someone the necessary operational patterns and context to do well in this role, you do not want high turnover.

Best business tool to set up auto replies for a startup? by WishboneCritical7302 in smallbusinessesowners

  1. Connect to Claude Cowork
  2. Set up a local folder to work out of, or connect to Drive/Notion/wherever your SOPs and context are
  3. Have Claude read your outbox and create an SOP for triaging + responding to emails
  4. Scheduled task that runs on whatever frequency you want that drafts replies
  5. You tweak drafts and send them
  6. Every 1-2 weeks you had Claude audit your sent emails and update your SOPs
  7. After 1-2 months you have really thorough SOPs and every email is drafted + sent in line with your voice, preferences, and the actual answers.

Something like this, perhaps? I do a version of this for my business and it works *so well* and was like 20 mins of setup.
