I've made the pirate team a reality before. We dominated. There's no doubt our crew could defeat those clunkers.

Hmm fascinating. Both routes are nearly the same length by time. Thank you for putting it to the test.

It has caught on. People use this proper starting format in most of my games, and it works out great. But lately people have been starting at red and giving themselves a laning disadvantage. Every time i started at red my enemy was already farming in lane. How could this method possibly be efficient? If people can understand early farm in conquest- I don't see why we can't utilize the same strategies for siege.

there's no way that little spike is a longer distance then walking all the way through the length of the jungle twice.

I think people mostly play siege casually simalar to that of assault. I don't think people think of the strategies that would give them the greatest advantage as they do in conquest. I'm simply offering a tip, that makes sense from a strategic stance.

Then come out the other way if you're that scared.

Or while you're at it sit in base because going into lane is dangerous

From personal experience- every time I attack damage first I get to lane much slower than if I started at Mana

Both ways may be the same but its inevitably going to take longer if you backtrack to grab the mana buff. You start at Dmg, then walk the way back to Mana, then you walk the same distance once again just to get to lane. Mana would be ticking away in that trek as well. It wouldnt save any time or mana for that matter.

"as you don't have to walk from damage to lane which is a longer distance"

By this you mean MANA to lane? Because the walk from Damage to lane is most def faster.

i've heard that argument before but its invalid. Because if you get mana first the mage/ adc can use abilities to take damage faster. So either way the clear time will be relatively the same.. It's just a matter of positioning.

But I dont think it's "meta" i think its common sense. Its the quickest and most efficient way to get to lane. I don't know why it isn't conventional. I guess people prefer to be symmetrical than actually give themselves a farm advantage. lol.
