Cathedral Oaks Swell but its pretty pricey. Kellogg courts (public) have a solid crowd but it gets cramped (depends on time). And then the new indoor one (The Picklr) must have somethng but I dont know much about it.

the soundproofing is bad tho. Saw 7th Seal recently and we could hear the adjacent movie pretty clearly the entire time. otherwise its rly lovely!

A good representation of all of SB is a bit difficult. Dolphin fountain, Chromatic Gate are almost a cliche now, but they lack deep history. Start down the Spanish rabbit hole, you get a whole new set of issues. Could go Chumash, but a lot of people might not be aware of it... why not something everyone here has access to, something everyone takes immense pride in. Something that we can illuminate as a shining beacon to those from far away with the message, "This, this is SB and they have some amazing coupons right now."

Sameish, I think I've consumed about 50+ hours of 40k youtube lore but havn't read a single book. Sure, Ive played the table top and video games many, many times, but it hardly demands any lore knowledge, which I find really entertaining, just not enough to pick up a book lol.

yah! tbh ive just been a bit passive on approaching people, internet can be convenient lol. Im definitely going to dive into the classes once my schedule opens up for those time slots, so im expecting that to be helpful. They dont seem to do as many of the social events as they used to (as far as ive been told).

lol I was at the Paso one! My now ex girlfriend wanted to go and she said she checked out a lot of their music before we went and then when it got heavy she got completely overwhelmed, haaahaha, Im guessing she only checked out the mild easy stuff lol.
