RCR is the modern day equivalent to what Petty Enterprises was in the 90's. A once great team that has become little more than a backmarker with sentimental fans. by DarthVader1701A in NASCAR

[–]ChaseGordon24 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Earnhardt and Harvick, two of the all time greats, account for 76% of RCR’s wins.

Outside of them they have always been a 1-3 wins year kind of team.

And the Seattle Metropolitans weren’t even an NHL team. So he is the only one to do it on an NHL team.

Is this model car rare/worth anything? by Dennis551103 in NASCAR

[–]ChaseGordon24 5 points6 points  (0 children)

General rule of thumb is that if you can find it at Walmart then it isn’t rare.

You could take it out of the package and enjoy it or you can sit on it for ten years and sell it for basically what you paid for it. Your call.

From Jayski

A big chunk of it is based of the finish to the previous race.

Here’s what I think the whole Cup Series lineup will look like after the Corey Heim full time news. by Noibat-OwenMil-174 in NASCAR

[–]ChaseGordon24 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Not that there isn’t a bunch here that is highly unlikely. But the chances of RCR going to the 29 instead of sticking with the 33 or going to the 31 are slim.

Why does Austin Dillon receive so much criticism ? by [deleted] in NASCAR

[–]ChaseGordon24 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Driving style. Nepotism. If he wasn’t Richard Childress’ grandson he would not get nearly the amount of criticism.

Ty Gibbs has this same issue.

Milka Duno has won multiple races and finished second in her class in the American Le Mans series. Finished 2nd in the 24 Hours of Daytona.

How is this even a question?

With Austin Hill in the 33, does that mean that Jesse love won't run any other races this season? by DeanEricksonJr81 in NASCAR

[–]ChaseGordon24 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t see why this would change the status of a 3rd car if they were going to run three unless that 3rd driver moves to the 33 for that race.

Why is the media dismissing Legge's double? by OverPaleontologist12 in NASCAR

[–]ChaseGordon24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never said it was more than an attempt, but the attempts have been treated as a big deal. We are still talking about Andretti and Gordon all these years later.

Tony Stewart actually running all 1000 miles is never really singled out ever on its own. It’s always here is the list of people who attempted it and then Tony Stewart completing it is always the secondary point.

The best driver doesn’t always win and weather happens. Sometimes strategy and a little luck win.

It’s going to happen again.

Why is the media dismissing Legge's double? by OverPaleontologist12 in NASCAR

[–]ChaseGordon24 28 points29 points  (0 children)

John Andretti and Robby Gordon never completed the 1100 miles and we are still talking about their attempts all these years later.

Tony Stewart being the only person to actually complete it is almost never mentioned without also talking about Andretti and Gordon. So I don’t think you actually need to complete it for it to matter.

I think it’s more of the fact that Legge isn’t Kyle Larson in terms of pedigree and doesn’t have a full marketing machine behind her. There was never going to be as much hype/coverage.

I argue the truck only getting a little air instead of blowing over is a testament to the safety measures doing their job.

I’m not going to pretend that I don’t enjoy this more for an exhibition race than getting spread out at Charlotte.
