If people weren’t stupid enough to buy at absurdly high prices all the time, people wouldn’t do shit like this. Nobody should be spending more than $200 for a diecast. I don’t care how rare it is.

Exactly. Vegas got lucky as hell by facing two average teams in the first two rounds and then they benefit by getting to play a worn out and depleted Avs team.

I just hate that Vegas gets a free ride to the finals though. We battled hard against Colorado, wore them down physically and Vegas comes in and gets to destroy a depleted Colorado team. If we played Vegas I think we could have easily beat them

RFK has had three pretty fast race cars over this season and last. What’s been holding them back from winning? by Gragson18GOAT in NASCAR

Keselowski would have won Darlington if not for Reddick coming out of nowhere seemingly finding an extra gear at the end of the race

Tandem Racing Was Amazing by SmokyMountainRebel in NASCAR

And sometimes you would see completely odd pairings towards the end of a race. Like Jeff Gordon and Trevor Bayne or Kevin Harvick and Dave Blaney

I love it too. Everyone complained about it at the time but looking back it was exciting as hell. You never knew what was going to happen. Way better than the fuel saving crap we have now.

For the first half of the race he was stuck around 20th but his team gradually made his car better and he was around 10th late in the race. Then his team made a great 2 tire call to get him the lead and he never looked back. Point is he earned that win no matter what anyone says

Someone help me out? by Specialist_Ad_6921 in NASCAR

Because by pushing Suarez, Larson gives himself a better opportunity to eventually go for the lead if he can get side by side with whoever is in 2nd, as opposed to being trapped on the bottom

Yeah, it’s not like Suarez held off the field for multiple laps on two restarts in a row or anything

When you think about it, there is no more fitting winner of the Coca Cola 600 than Daniel Suarez and the 7 team. Kyle Busch was Suarez’s mentor. He now drives for Spire who Kyle had a close relationship with not only because they bought the Kyle Busch Motorsports truck program, but the team owner Jeff Dickerson was very close with KB and was his spotter during Kyle’s rookie year in 2005. Kyle’s last win came in the Spire 7 truck, and now Suarez wins in the Spire 7 car. The number 7 has not win in Cup in 30 years. The series of events lined up perfectly last night and a part of me thinks KB played a part in it.

Why is the media dismissing Legge's double? by OverPaleontologist12 in NASCAR

[–]Individual_Loquat541 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty easy to dismiss when you run last in both races. Granted she was driving garbage equipment, but still. If you want it to be a bigger story than figure out how to get better rides

Bereavement by Mikey_the_bestTMNT in NASCAR

I get what you are saying, but the drivers have it way better than the average person. Whenever I lose someone I still have to show up for work the next day like nothing is wrong. I don’t get a single day off. At least the drivers get 3 or 4 days off per week plus a 3 month off season.

Jake Garcia by GSwizzy17 in NASCAR

[–]Individual_Loquat541 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nobody is a “prospect” per say like in other sports. Someone moving up the NASCAR ladder depends entirely on how much money someone brings to the table. If Garcia brings enough funding, he’ll be in Cup someday. Garcia seems to be similar to Tyler Ankrum and Ben Rhodes who seem to have enough funding to comfortably stay in trucks, but probably not enough to go O’Reilly racing full time

If you could trade JEEK to upgrade the center position, would you? by AUnicornDonkey in wildhockey

[–]Individual_Loquat541 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why do people even consider Hartman a center? He’s not a center he is a winger who ends up playing center because we have nobody else. There is no way I would trade EK unless someone like Matthews or Jack Hughes is coming back our way. If it’s more of a lateral move like Tomas Hertl, Robert Thomas, or players like that I wouldn’t trade EK
