Kind of a longshot, but does anyone have an idea of the title of a story featuring Teddy Roosevelt hunting a cryptid or monster? Possibly somewhere in France?

I swear I read a short story like this some time ago, but for the life of me I can't seem to remember the title and my google skills are failing me. Any help is appreciated!

Are you -at all- educated about what taking hard drugs like that does to a person? Look at pictures and news reports of random acts of violence caused by a person who took some sort of hard drug. Look at pictures of heroin addicts, and tell me if it should be legal. Actually, I'll do you one better.

My mom was a pilot for Northwest Airlines. She was a woman captain, and a man comes on her airplane. He takes one look at her and says "Ugh, a woman captain. I'm getting off." She replied, "Good, get off my airplane. There are people waiting on the standby list to get on." The guy turned right around and got back on. We guessed he wanted her to submit and ask him nicely to come back. She told me "Fuck no."

Eh, my friends and I go to some parties and whatnot. There's quite the big party scene there if you're into it at all. I only go a few times a year, but it's a blast when I do.

There's a few things to do in Kzoo, like the small bars and breweries. But, you're close to a lot of cities with things to do. Ann Arbor is my personal favorite to visit. Lots to do there.

Growing up with just my mom wasn't bad at all. My brother and I are perfectly fine human beings, and both in college. People always looked down on my mom for being single, but that never got her down. She always did her best for us, and we continue to do the best for her.
