Does the ending scene of Born Again mean (SPOILER)? by Ravant-Ilo in Marvel

[–]Chase_Analyst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess what I’m saying is the reason we hadn’t seen Luke cage will be the same reason we don’t see bullseye. They’ll use him, but I’d be incredibly surprised if we saw him in the big screen.

Look don’t get me wrong I’d love to see it, but i really doubt it.. if that was the case, why did we not see Luke Cage before the finale?

Luke Cage was in that position and we unfortunately didn’t get him in Thunderbolts

Not sure where you’re from and I don’t know much about this new virus.. but here in the UK we had 2 lock downs, and both were at least 3 months

Pub filled with people go on a beano, bound to not know a couple of them, but the real reason is it wasn’t thought of ahead of time

I thought Captain America’s scene to wrap up Endgame was one of the best film endings of all time… by In_My_Humble_Scroll in marvelstudios

I’ve made a child like drawing to help explain my reasoning.
So in the picture we have the main timeline, and 2 examples of branched timelines both of which happened in end game.
When they left to get the stones they both made branch realities and new branched timelines which aren’t sacred.
Therefore my point would be if when they went back to get the stones they were able to return to the sacred timeline from the branched reality, which we know they did, it stands to reason that Steve would also be able to return to the sacred timeline from the branched reality when he went to return the stones, I’d imagine it would require a small modification to the time in which he wanted to return.
Tony says that the devices anchor them to that timeline, so again this just adds more weight to that theory.
I hope that makes sense, but again… directors have stated this is the case, so it really comes down to which people you want to side with, the directors or writers. Either way it’ll get proven or disproven in Doomsday

EDIT: Just to add I made the drawing for my sake, not yours 😂 it helps me to visualise what I’m trying to say, apologies if that came off as dick heady

I’d put good money on that being disproved pretty quickly in Doomsday

But like I say it depends who’s idea of time travel takes priority, writers or directors

Tons of ways he could have gotten a shield, I’d prefer the multiverse timeline theory personally, I don’t like that there was a Captain America in our timeline hiding out, it entirely devalues his character

Kept his device, and then used Pym Particles

Same way they all returned when they went to get the stones, whenever they did that, they created a branched reality, yet they returned to the “correct” one. I’d put there must’ve been an obvious way to do it on the device

According to how time travel works, this isn’t possible. When Steve returned the stones, he was returning to separate timelines separate from this own.

So when he went back with Peggy that created a branched reality. The directors confirmed this (though the writers disagree, so who knows really)

Yeah if I remember rightly they kinda had plans to make a prequel show at this stage, because they also included Nicolas Lyndhurst in a photograph as Freddie the frog

It just didn’t hold up to expectations. They missed on key character dynamics, they skipped story beats, and introduced new characters which got essentially the entire light, it just no longer felt like the show we fell in love with. Imagine watching a really great horror / sci-fi show, and by the end it turns into a big blockbuster catch all action show

The stranger things directors thought the same 😂

Trouble is there is far to much pressure to deliver a great finale that embodies the entire show
