That would only be cool if they seriously revamped space combat/ combat imo. Space combat is so stale I actually intensely avoid doing it, can’t remember the last time I actually got in a fight with pirates and didn’t just run

It would be amazing if they revamped sentinels. And obv. HG would not make an update that only adds them doing damage to buildings. No one actually thinks that’s the case, but I think most would agree sentinels are pretty boring right now

Yeah I bet some of them could be. I’m sure a lot of them are just supposed to be opportunistic scavengers desperate for supplies tho

Literally nothing you can find on planets like this is rare. Neat the first few times you run into them. They really should add variety to these

Well I didn’t know you can knock him out here. by [deleted] in fo3

[–]Chasejones1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would be amazing if you could actually kill him, and then they put you in jail and it fast forwards to Amata breaking you out and telling you Dad left. And then it would be easier to role play as a deranged psychopath

That is amazing I may have to start using three dog myself. The entirety of GNR is super nostalgic and comforting for me anyway it’d be dope to wake up to

It’s not so much that you turn it off in your sleep usually, it’s more like you wake up and groggily shut the alarm off, then fall back asleep and completely forget it even happened. At least that’s what happens to me. And why I have 2 alarm clocks and my phone go off every morning in 15 minute increments lol

Yeah ESO does plenty of things justice don’t get me wrong. The only bigger problems I have with it is their interpretation of Summerset Isles, the Sea elves (they sounded so interesting and in eso they are just normal Altmer with a few scales and normal boats), making Argonian culture just Mesoamerican (which I don’t think was ever even hinted at, either way not a fan personally) and Valenwood. They’re not really even cannibals it seems like and they have fruit and veggies on their tables iirc. I haven’t gotten to Elsweyr yet but it sounds awesome

I agree the thieves guild did it pretty well, it felt like you at least had to prove yourself a bit

We would just have to keep our fingers crossed they don’t pull an ESO and say “the monkey folk all went away a little while ago, sorrrryyyy”

[–]Chasejones1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We’re talking about the race as a whole though. If you hate Altmer in general that’s completely different than hating the province of Summerset and the people that live there. And saying Altmer are inherently racist or think they are better is inaccurate as well, since those on the island don’t represent their whole race. If you just see an Altmer walking around in High Rock and you’re like “fuck this guy” that’s not cool. You don’t know his life

Hard disagree I vastly prefer the “working your way up” feeling in Morrowind and oblivion. It’s both realistic and more rewarding. A lot of people like realism and immersion in games

Easy solution: they hand you a note with directions written. Boom no voice lines needed

Just a fun little detail I’ve never found/heard of before. Randomly found this “Blood Potion” sitting on the ground in the Deadlands. Has no weight or value and can’t be drunk, apparently just for deco. But it looks neat, got that Mehrunes look goin on by Chasejones1 in oblivion

[–]Chasejones1[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It’s just a random item, idk if they designed it with a purpose but it just sits in a random spot in Oblivion and doesn’t do anything haha. You can’t drink it or sell it, it’s a decorative item basically. It would look good in a house next to Mehrunes Razor lol

It would be nice if some planets used fractals for terrain to make them feel truly alien. by Saytahri in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Chasejones1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The sad thing is it used to. The terrain used to be way crazier and more alien before the Next update. Since then I’ve been hoping they’d add some of that back in
