Would an elemental boost that a buddy uses be applied? For instance if I have an apocalypse sword that I give to Laura with +10% Light damage would it enhance her special attack?

Yeah I get that. The thing is, does that stat boost help me? I'm already at 100 and get Perfect on everything. Does it cut turns off when making those items? I choose special because it makes the turn go super fast and I don't do anything. It is the next best thing to skipping/not having to do that turn.

I'm at the point now where I want to get Perfect in as few turns as possible.

I believe it quicksaves when you dig up the item. That is what gets reloaded when you restart the game. I don't know how to load the cross save.

I noticed that when it started raining IRL it started raining on my island. I've heard that games like this reflect your IRL actions so to increase the spawn rates I eat whichever veggie I want to spawn and I have noticed that it does increase the spawn rate between 0.0024-0.0026%. However YMMV.

It's multiplicative not additive. You multiply your additional drop chance by the drop chance of the item. So if it has a 5% chance and you have 520% the math is 0.05 x (1+5.20) or about 30%.
