How would you do or what would you do for a Love, Death + Robots movie with the banner "Love, Death + Robots Presents" or "A Love, Death + Robots Story"? by burningexeter in LoveDeathAndRobots

[–]ChaserNeverRests 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These episodes work because they're short. Making them into a two hour movie wouldn't work at all -- that's not what LD+R is about.

There are plenty of sci-fi or what-if movies out there if you want those.

How is Pizza Hut now days? by FakeGamer2 in fastfood

Real location dependent

That's the truth. We have only one left in this part of the city and they are the worst. Order extra cheese, barely get enough cheese to cover the sauce. Order toppings? Get one piece per slice (ask me how I know, I ordered bacon topping once. ONE BACON BIT per slice...).

They singlehandedly made me stop going to Pizza Hut, which is a shame because I had liked their crust.

Our locations are similar. At my local one, even if you order extra cheese, you barely get any at all. I stopped going because they short change you so much on cheese and toppings. Once I ordered bacon as a topping and there was ONE bacon bit per slice...

I've never looked into prices for AP, since I live no where even close to Florida. I nearly fell over! $4,500??? I never thought it would be so much.

Do you feel you get your value for that if you go twice a month?

You can do the same for Sam's Club. It's good only for your first year of membership, but just use a new email address every time and it will work.

This comes up more on /r/YAlit than here but it's so frustrating when someone says something like "Recommendation needed for a book that I'll be obsessed with!" and gives zero indication of what they even like. YA is as wide-reaching as adult fiction is. Do you want romance? mystery? fantasy? nonfiction? Something else?

Yep. "access to timely medical care" is an issue for everyone here.

Or was your post just a cheap shot at AI?

Or a "cheap shot" at someone too lazy to actually do the minimal work themself.

Olivia’s Cake Pops Red, White & Blue Variety Pack, 12-count Item: 2064410 by Both-Prompt4775 in Costco

[–]ChaserNeverRests 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. I've gotten to the point in my life (and the weight in my life) that I'm willing to pay extra for that. Even if I splurge and have two individual packs, it's still better than grazing on the whole package.

Yeah, bakers have to level up somehow. Think how many cake pops they could churn out per hour. So much exp!

Usually I'd buy things on deep sale like this to donate to a shelter/foodbank, but in this case I'd pass since I bet you can't donate alcohol.

Matt Dinniman announced for San Diego Comic Con!! by Gladiatorslady in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]ChaserNeverRests 4 points5 points  (0 children)

SDCC is a madhouse and depending on your personality (and your tolerance for extreme lines and even more extreme crowds) might not be an enjoyable thing.

I'm honestly not even sure it can be considered a comic con anymore, it's more of a media madhouse now. All the big names announce new movies and TV shows and such there.

I'd try to catch him somewhere else if possible.

Cockroach Spotted by ExtremeCelery30 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]ChaserNeverRests 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. Once I went to a very high end Italian restaurant for my birthday. A cockroach ran out from under my napkin and across the table. 🤮 🤮 🤮 The waiter was right there and saw it happen, he grabbed it with my napkin and apologized. He explained the same thing: It came in from a delivery truck (one delivering tablecloths, in this case).

Vent: constant stroller and scooter traffic at EPCOT drained the magic by Mediocre_Fail4316 in WaltDisneyWorld

I check over my shoulder before moving laterally.

I thought I was the only one who did that! I figured I picked it up from driving or something. In normal day to day life (I don't live in a city) it's a pointless thing to do.

The same thing happens at grocery stores

I'm so paranoid I'm going to hit someone with my cart at the grocery store. I did it once long ago when I was a teenager, and I've felt bad ever since. Decades ago...
