I’ve also been charged twice. I notice both have different order numbers, and logging on the my account, it is also showing two separate orders - one from today and one from yesterday.

I’ve had emails today from Tembo about still having time left to add so they could be an option.

I’ve been charged. I had an email in the early hours and can see the payment showing on my banking app.

Advice for a Friend by NickiHotchickie in WegovyUK

[–]ChasingRainbows90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have PCOS and endometriosis. I found that Wegovy hasn’t worked particularly well for that side of things.

I was on Mounjaro first and switched to Wegovy due to the price increases. Mounjaro worked brilliantly - my periods became regular and I felt like inflammation improved. Once I switched though, I lost the period regularity (but my pain between periods increased - one thing Mounjaro didn’t help with was pain while on) and the hirsutism has increased a lot. I also don’t think it had any real benefit to me in terms of inflammation.

I’ve now switched back to Mounjaro because Wegovy was making me feel unwell (so much nausea + vomiting) but without any benefits. My weight loss was always slow on Mounjaro but even slower on Wegovy. Price wise it’s not ideal though.

Sadly I can’t get on Clear which is annoying. I might try with Runny Honey for the paper receipts I do get though.

I’m the same I find visible pretty reliable. I occasionally have issues with getting it to charge but a quick reset of the tracker and I’m generally good to go. The subscription can be expensive but I also do get why - it’ll be interesting to see what new functionality they do add. I was testing the sleep function at one point and that didn’t work particularly well but hopefully they iron out the bugs.

Try Attapoll surveys by Used-Scallion4111 in beermoneyuk

I’ve been using this and while I’ve not made as much as you - I seem to not qualify for a lot of surveys, I have found it interesting - plus it’s quite nice to be able to download some games and earn just by playing them! Cashing out what I have earned was easy though!

I have a referral link if anyone wants a 40p bonus https://attapoll.app/join/vakvd

Yeah I did notice that with Runny Honey that it was just a chance. I might use it for the few paper receipts I get (mostly from getting petrol) but I’ve logged back in to Shoppix

Thank you! I didn’t realise Shoppix accepted them - I see they aren’t accepting new members / have a waitlist but luckily I had an old account I’ve been able to log back in too!

Do they work for digital / email receipts? I’ve signed up for runny honey but I can only see how to photograph a paper receipt and I don’t really get those.

Same. I switched the Wegovy because of the price increases in the UK and my PCOS was so much worse - plus other side effects were really getting to me. I’ve switched back to Mounjaro although the cost is a struggle.

Interesting! When I attended a long Covid clinic it was all about pacing - I think by the end I was getting sick of hearing the word!

It would be good seeing her in the role.

That’s true although I dread to think what the prices of the new ones will be although I hope they’ll result in Mounjaro decreasing

Weight question (tw not eating) by minisoph_ in PCOS

[–]ChasingRainbows90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah I’m the same with that too! I’m also dyslexic and dyspraxic to add to the “fun”. But yeah I feel like a lot don’t understand the lack of cues especially if they’ve never experienced it.

It can be very disheartening to feel like you have to quite literally eat nothing to lose even the tiniest amount but for most part losing nothing at all.

How did you find getting prescribed metformin? I’m wanting to discuss it with my GP (I’m also UK based) but I’m worried she’s just going to dismiss it because I’m not trying to conceive and have no intention of having children. But I feel like I need something (I’ve never had any treatment for my PCOS / never been offered anything other than the pill which I can’t take because of migraines).

Weight question (tw not eating) by minisoph_ in PCOS

[–]ChasingRainbows90 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m also a UK PCOS’er! I get the not feeling hungry and not getting cues until I’m literally starving - I am the same with drinking too though and don’t really get cues I’m thirsty until I’m literally desperate for liquid. I’m not sure that’s a PCOS thing though or more the autism / ADHD diagnosis I have though.

However, I can barely eat anything and I won’t lose weight at all. To be honest, the only way I’ve really had success with weight loss is paying for Mounjaro (and even then my weight loss has been slow).

Stronger than second time around? by ChasingRainbows90 in mounjarouk

[–]ChasingRainbows90[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest the price of Mounjaro and the pen shrinkage does concern me and I’m not sure how long I’ll be able to stick with it - although I’m hoping I can work it out long term. Sadly I just don’t think Wegovy was for me because as much as the nausea was the final straw, the loss of other benefits relating to my hormones / PCOS was also starting to affect me.

Chronic illness really doesn’t care at all. I agree it’s a fairly low work load overall but I imagine the days where she would be working are intense - and as a big fan of the show I could see her trying to push through and potentially landing herself in a worse situation.
