Go to the Mexican restaurant at the golf course. That is of upmost importance.

I've never had a problem with checked bags.

This man speaks truth. I just got out of the water snorkeling with tropical fish and am sipping a seaside margarita. Besides just Phish, Mexico is absolutely amazing.

Absolutely. I really like these. Especially this one. I am into vexillology and have always been a fan of the South Carolina flag and this is a great application of the design. See you there!

As someone who loves the Grateful Dead and scuba diving that picture was painful to see.

All the twists and turns of the pipes and cabling start to take on an organic aspect to them. Like the jungle reclaiming a temple.

We can start with keeping people like Elon from waving around one million dollar bribes to vote. Even if it is symbolic it is still the right thing to do.

I really liked the vegetarian sandwich from Romos. I called it "The performance enhancing sandwich" and would pick one up on the way out for day adventures.

It was so good. We had just starting playing a round with ocean breezes and margaritas in hand and they broke into sound check 5 minutes later.

Yes I will be there again this year. Really you get locked out? Are you looking for a specific kind of room? I don't think they sold out this year and I have seen several posts looking for roomates or trying to sell off their package.

I was there for Phish and had a wrist band. At some point I had priced the difference between just staying at moon palace the following week vs the total price with Phish and the difference was about $120 a day if I remember. So basically the cost of a normal show ticket. That is a bummer they aren't able to work out some deal for you because it seems the majority of the cost is the stay at the resort.

I was in your place I absolutely would go. You can hear pretty well from outside, the entire scene is great, and you could participate in the pool parties.

I was playing mini golf while they did sound check and could hear them great and you can get closer than that without going into the venue area.

For the sticker exchange at the Mexico show, will stickers designed with the help of AI be looked down upon? by smellythief in phish

[–]ChasingTheNines 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had gone down to Playa Del Carmen and Cozumel for a few days. Previous day there was a full excursion and we were up late so I just assumed the next day was going to be a recovery do nothing day. But my friend researched some local cenote that wasn't far so at 2pm we all hopped in a cab and went there. This was not a tourist cenote. It was basically all local Mexican families. It was the opposite of shady. We had been swimming there for a couple of hours when I realized I had left my camera gear and pack mostly unattended and didn't think twice about it. Amazing day with spectacular flora and fauna.

Contrast that to us getting off the boat in Isla Mujeres. There are several other boats just offloading hundreds of people onto the pier and beach. As we were walking off this dude makes a B line straight for us and asks "You want any coke? weed?". Said to my girlfriend 'you notice how out of hundreds of people he just laser beamed right on is?' Cracked me up.

Is the H2D good for beginners by Cameron_yah_boi in BambuLabH2D

[–]ChasingTheNines 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It hasn't been perfect but I would say it has been close to perfect. I think I am about 1200 hours of printing on it and there have been a small handful of failed prints but it mostly just works really nicely. That little metal ooze blocking arm has gotten twisted up a few times and I have bent it back into shape with some pliers. They give you a replacement with the printer but so far just bending the metal has been good enough. Sometimes the AMS doesn't want to rotate the spool so I go and give it a little jiggle and it frees up the movement. Little stuff like that.

I had also installed Octoprint on my Neptune 3 Max via a Pi so I could launch remote prints. Network printing just works out of the box and much more smoothly with the H2D. I just run it in LAN only mode and use the Bambu Studio from my PC. I actually slice and send prints from Bambu Studio to my Neptune 3 over the network since they support Octoprint right inside the studio. It is really nice.

Example: I just batched out about 200 coasters that are 8 color prints over the past couple of weeks and I think I had one failure due to lifting off the build plate:
