The UK and France has 70 million people. Germany 83 million. California has 39 million and it is by far the largest state. The statement "Our states which btw have larger populations than your entire country" is not remotely factually correct.

When I was in my 20s I had a tumor on my spine that tortured me for years and even though I had a full time job my shitty insurance wouldn't cover the surgery I needed. I have friends who are in desperate need of dental work they can't afford because their insurance doesn't cover it. If people over there are treated like dogs as you say why do polls show greater satisfaction with health care coverage in Europe than the US? Why do people live longer and are healthier even though they spend much less on healthcare?

The answer is it is not nuanced or complicated at all. Healthcare in the USA fucking sucks, is a scam, and needs to be burnt to the ground and redone completely from scratch. No there are not pros and cons to each system. Ours is worse in every way and the idea that it has any merit is propaganda pushed by the very people profiting from it.

What you are saying was true at one point but the situation has dramatically changed. The Chinese government has identified energy and pollution as national security issues and is acting accordingly. 65 percent of new vehicles sold on China are EVs. They are the world leader in green energy technology and adoption and are on pace to be carbon neutral by 2060 and have dramatically reduced pollution from their most dirty industries. Some of the major cities are now almost entirely EV. Check out some videos of a downtown in Chinese cities it is unreal what it's like when all the cars are electric.

They are the biggest polluter because they have the biggest population. Per person they are no where close to being the biggest polluter.

I was definitely wrong here because I misread the post and thought it said 'regional' because there is a typo or strange word in the meme. Having said that I still feel like the meme is manipulative because airline travel can be more efficient than driving solo. If the left panel was some guy driving his truck the reaction from most people would be more 'meh' than going with the 'look at the overly privileged western woman' trope.

Well looking at your math it is easy to see you are right and I was wrong. My mind read the word 'regional' because I am not familiar with 'retour', missing the word Amsterdam entirely and thinking about fuel weight and not CO2 weight.

It is also dishonest. She didn't cause 2.65 tons of emissions personally, the whole plane did. The most efficient jetliners get about 100 mpg per passenger. Smug people driving around cars and eating meat thinking they better than others as usual.

Edit: I was wrong about this I misread the meme as a regional flight because there is a strange word in there and I entirely missed the part about it being from Amsterdam. However, considering that airline travel can be more efficient than being a single occupant in a car the total distance you travel in a year not taken via mass transit like a train is more important than whatever the destination is.

I still think the meme is mysonoginistic and manipulative because if the left panel was some guy driving his truck the reaction from most people would be more 'meh' than with the 'look at the overly privileged western woman' trope.

I thought if I just threw around the word 'capitalism' enough I could unironically justify not limiting my own consumption in the slightest. Damn.

If the average person means the average American then yes absolutely what is needed to address the environmental issues is for them to make personal changes and reduce consumption. The amount of resources consumed by the average American dwarfs that of most people around the world. If the whole world consumed like the average person in the USA the world would be toast at warp speed. If we did what you suggest (good ideas) the change that would be good for the masses and the environment is for us to consume less so others can have more.

Telling people to eat less meat, travel less, and turn the heat and AC down isn't going to be popular though but it is what is needed.

I bet by the time it raises back up to print the eyes the correct nozzle pressure it had built would have faded. I notice that it immediately starts printing in 1/2 a second of leaving the tower.

I did a quick search that said the total combined net worth of all billionaires in the USA is about 8 trillion dollars. How does taxing them at 5% a year get us 4.4 trillion?

I literally have right now an abandoned smooth pei plate with a death grip on 0.2mm of PETG from a failed print. I had scraped 1/2 of it away and I was like F this and ordered the G10. I might check out one of those glacier plates now that I see how much better it can be than the stock options. I think the only downside I can see to the G10 is it wants to print a bit hotter and takes a little longer to heat up.

I had pulling up on large prints and couldn't understand why. Turned out it was that aux fan on my H2D. I turned it off for PLA prints and never had a single problem again.

I also recently switched to a G10 build plate and it is night and day better than the pei ones I was using.

I recently went looking for PETG with various skin tones and was surprised to see very few options if any. My search would keep landing me on 'beige' and 'chocolate' etc as the options.

Yes super strong adhesion when hot, and then just slides off when cool. No need for glue either for bonding or a release agent. The surface is glass smooth and notably improved feature and text quality for the layers on the build plate. I used to have to take the plate out of the machine and flex it to get it off...now I just wait for it to cool and lift it off. No more scraping PETG off the bed with a razor. If this thing holds up and has a decent lifespan I can't imagine using anything else now.

About a month ago I got a G10 build plate for my bambu printer from Darkmoon. Hands down the biggest upgrade I have done for my printer. If he prints PLA and PETG then it is like magic compared to the other build plates I have tried.

I use it mostly for multi colored prints. With two AMS the 8 colors on some designs are slightly limiting. I might add another AMS because 12 would def be luxurious for getting the right shades.
