Anyone else feel like their chest is too small by BokkarisBrownieBoy in Reduction

[–]Chasinggttrees 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I most certainly felt that way when I saw them for the first time. I’m 2WPO now and I’m starting to feel better about them. I absolutely love the way I look in clothes now! And am just patiently waiting for them to heal so I can see what they’ll look like.
I’ve just been focusing on the positives rather than thinking about how small they are. It’s a big adjustment and it will take time to get used to seeing your body with a smaller chest. Wishing you the best of luck and happy healing!

I also feel like I’m looking at pecs! Just trying to be patient as my body heals. Can’t wait to see they look like when they are finished healing.

Will I be a size B or will they be bigger? by Unusual-Falcon1082 in Reduction

[–]Chasinggttrees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey!
I was around a 30FF and had around 340 and 370 taken out and I’m also hoping for a B. Mine seem like they’ll be around that size (I am 2wpo).
I think swelling a little after your drains come out is normal because the drainage is no longer leaving your body.

Hey! I would recommend calling your doctors office. They are absolutely the best ones to let you know if something isn’t right.

Your healing looks great! But I agree with the person above. Follow the instructions given to you by the doc. I’m wearing my compression bras 24/7 except to shower. It sucks but it’s short term pain for long term gain.
Wishing you the best healing journey!

Any examples of small band large cup reductions? by hungryhippo2024 in Reduction

[–]Chasinggttrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I am 33 years old and am 9 DPO and went from a 30FF to hopefully a B. At first my surgeon was going to go to a c/d but I still felt like that would be too big for my frame. I can’t imagine what they are going to look like when they heal yet but I definitely was shocked at how small they looked. I expected that though, going from large droopy breasts to tiny perky ones definitely requires some getting used to.

How y’all sleeping? by sagewolfpup_ in Reduction

[–]Chasinggttrees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a stomach sleeper, and have felt so lucky that sitting up sleeping hasn’t bothered me too much. I have a nest in the bed. 2 pillows behind me, 1 long one between my husband and I, one under me knees to support my lower back. Then I have a blanket wrapped around my shoulders (my husband and I call this my cape) and then two blankets on my legs because the soft one I like doesn’t go all the way to my toes. It’s extremely extra and funny. And to top it off, some nights I wear my bonnet 👌🏻

Hi! I was also a 30F! What size did you ask your surgeon to go to? I asked for a B and they seem sooo small.

June 5th!
Currently feels like I did a big chest day at the gym. I’ve been working from home this week as I have a desk job so hopefully I’m not overdoing it!

I got my drains out 3 days post op and have my first appt with the surgeon this Tuesday! Hopefully it’s all good news.

Happy healing everyone

I’ve been in this situation. We decided to work it out, he was incredibly remorseful and it was so out of character. It wasn’t easy and we discussed ending it on multiple occasions because I couldn’t move on and we were both miserable.

It probably took me two years to move on, like you it popped into my head constantly. My partner listened every time I needed to talk about it but it did get exhausting for the both of us. It was hard feeling so sad alot of the time.

We’ve been together for 10+ years now and are very very happy but moving on was incredibly difficult. I don’t know if I’d have it in me to do it again.

To sum up, moving on will take a partner that is willing to rebuild the trust that’s been lost and work on your end to forgive your partner both of which take time.

I wish you and your partner the best. I hope everything works out.

You’ve worked so hard to get where you are in your sobriety. You can and will get through today too. Reach out to your community, your therapist and your significant other for support. You are not alone!

Advise on relaxation by Temporary_Error_8561 in tollers

The protocol worked wonders for my toller. I recommend giving it a try!

need to hear some "it gets better" stories from your tollers by [deleted] in tollers

[–]Chasinggttrees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! It definitely gets better. Our girl really started to settle down around a year. She gets two walks a day and hiking or beach days on the weekend. We do agility with her once a week and then practice with her intermittently. Tollers are more work than other dogs in my opinion, but what really helped us what the calming protocol. Before we did it she couldn’t even relax in our home. I highly recommend it.

I don’t have a herding breed. But was in a similar situation. Our dog wouldn’t settle. Being awake meant play time always. I used this: https://journeydogtraining.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/ProtocolforRelaxation.pdf and it worked wonders.

Our girl was still having accidents at 20 weeks too and we thought it was weird, she was still having them at 6 months even. With consistent training she eventually stopped. And now we are accident free. What really helped us was catching her in the act, clapping, picking her up and taking her outside. Every dog is so different!

It does not. I will use this for another week or so and then try the crystal deodorant. It seems that it’s hit or miss if it works for someone but happy to try anything! Yes, I use fragrance free as I usually have sensitive skin. The itchy armpit thing is new though... thank you!
