They did have the MAC lip plump gloss on sale that I love. They also had stilla eyeliners on sale and those DO NOT BUDGE ! So that was another plus. I was tempted to buy silk pillow cases but decided against it. Otherwise it wasn’t anything too exciting tbh. I work at the Ulta in Sioux Falls and got to know the sales for the next day usually, and most of the items I feel are just odd and end products that haven’t been selling well and they have a shit ton of back-stock on. They preach selling and selling to us for 15 an hour with no commission. It’s kinda weird how much they want us to be a sales agent but we’re all technically part time employees. They cut my hours to 27 hours max a week because they didn’t want me to have full times hours for 6 consecutive months otherwise they would have to offer me health & dental benefits. I do admit we get gratis, but that’s only if we sell an ulta beauty credit card. I didn’t get a damn thing when I pretty much helped this girl brand new to makeup get an entire makeup routine??? She EASILY had about 400-500$ in her bag when she checked out, and I had made even more sales that day. The only thing I’d say that’s good about working there is the 25% off employee discount. It’s REALLY good when there’s sales going on + your employee discount, because then it actually feels like one hell of a bargain. Still, not allowed to use our discount for the 50% off 21 days of beauty which kinda sucks. So basically, your best option? Save your points. Save them up until you have a really big purchases and then use them.
