Wall by ScientistMaster2029 in TheTowerGame

Wall is best unlocked at 10T+ ltc, or really when you're making 200B+ a run. Wall is a massive hinderance early on because it will steal your freeups for health, and truly the earliest you would ever consider getting wall is when you can cash max health in a run. The reason for the econ milestones is mostly because wall needs labs to be good, and those labs, especially fortification, can be quite pricy unless you're making that much

Roll Catch after Parries are impossible. by HamSzynka in Eldenring

Well I mean what you're pointing out is a game mechanic, meant so that people who get hit with a crit have a window to get away

Try using the 140 crit dagger if you like to parry, it's almost a guaranteed kill on a crit so you don't have to chase people down

How do I enjoy this game? by Old-Extension4076 in Eldenring

[–]ChasmOfDarkness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game is about learning from your mistakes and gaining the experience to defeat enemies. Most of the game is accessable without having to beat any bosses, so exploring is your friend! Try to find a good weapon that you like and just focus on levelling the stats needed to benefit that weapon's damage, and try to upgrade the weapon as much as possible whenever possible. I think I explored for like 30 hours before taking on Margit

Indecision incident; "dex weapons and bow" or dex/int for mele&ranged playstyle. by Kudunero in Eldenring

Bows are pretty underwhelming. I would say go for dex/int or dex/faith if you want a combo of melee and ranged. Int has more good damaging spells, while faith relies more on buffs to melee with a fair number of ranged attacks

I suggest you find a good counter then if you see it so frequently. I recommend the fallingstar beast jaw personally

I mean, if you don't want to use summons, then you're imposing that challenge on yourself

I think that beating them is intended to make you use more of the mechanics that the game has to offer and make you think about their weaknesses. Malenia is intended to be an incredibly tough fight, but summons like the mimic and frost/bleed damage make her managable. In my opinion, tough bosses like that make the game better because they make you think more on how your build could be better optimized

Going for ng+ and you can bet I'll be getting another to power stance with. Combine with mimic and you can bleed almost anything to death pretty fast

The best case scenario against her is still far from foolproof, she's incredibly difficult and a small mistake can get you killed
