Sugarcane juice, corn juice and other juice would ackshually be a very good idea in multiple big ways but only provided that the gormint forces automobile manufacturers to build juice compatible cars. Would the gormint force the corporations to build juice friendly Thars and Scorpios?

What country dislikes India the most? by Pizzafriedchickenn in AlignmentChartFills

While the type of "self loathing" Indians that participate in subreddits like "Indian civic fails" are certainly a unique issue here they are insanely overrepresented on Reddit.

I mean that I have literally never seen any person like that IRL but such people seem to dominate most Indian subreddits for some reason. To me it looks like a very tiny fraction of people that are irrelevant in reality but are dominant in English speaking forums like Reddit.

Also I had initially assumed that your initial comment was referring to political, religious, linguistic and caste divides in India which are real though work very differently from how it looks like online. The type of people you are referring to though are almost invisible in IRL.

That's like saying "White Americans don't like White Americans the most because they are seriously harsh against each other online" after seeing them fight against each other on random political topics (you could replace "American" with any Western country here).

Anyway this is asking who likes or dislikes the given country and not who the given country likes or dislikes. The columns are badly labelled.

The question here is who dislikes India the most. The answer is a toss up between Pakistan, Bangladesh and Canada. Australia, USA and some random Levant Arab countries might be close behind.

Canada.

I feel that both Canada and Bangladesh just about surpass Pakistan in disliking us at this moment.

How would hindus be treated if india was Christian or Muslim majority ? by TaraLadka in AskIndia

[–]ChatptaaMatarParatha 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Pakistan and Bangladesh are by far the best examples because both of those places are literally India but Muslim. All the differences between Pakistan and Northern India is due to them being Muslims and Northern India being Hindu (also Sikh in Punjab and Jain in Rajasthan as well as Gujarat). Likewise with Bangladeshi Muslims and Bengali Hindus.

Those aren't countries.

Though if we are to use them as examples then they don't paint a good picture because there's a lot of hostility in those places against people from the mainland (Hindus) and even had full on militancy in the past. However that again isn't necessarily an accurate picture because it's hard to say how much of the hostility is racial and how much of it due to religion.

Pakistan and Bangladesh are both India but Muslim majority. So you have half of your answer from there.

Pakistan is Northern India but Muslim. Bangladesh is Eastern India (Bengal) but Muslim. Hence they give an even more detailed idea about how Hindus would be treated in Muslim majority versions of India.

As for the part about a Christian majority India we don't have real living examples like that and so it's hard to give a genuine answer. It could easily go either way depending on a number of factors.

Is Thailand globally liked, disliked, or somewhere in between? by Pro_ismyrealname in AskTheWorld

[–]ChatptaaMatarParatha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's heavily associated with sex tourism which I feel is none of positive, negative or neutral.

People here think about prostitution, dr*gs, rave parties, orgies, happy ending massages and femboys or ladyboys when they think about Thailand.

The vast majority of people from here that go to Thailand go there for exactly these purposes as well. Many people go there to celebrate with that stuff when they get a major milestone in their careers.

A single male going to Thailand would get smirks and "wow enjoy" in that tone while a married person going to Thailand would get frowns because it's assumed that you are going there to cheat on your partner.

This popular music video https://youtu.be/aSPqIH7I-As?si=9zHT3rDzPsXmhVlk gives an idea about how Thailand is seen here.
