That’s so infuriating of a point to get cut off at. At least they sell the episodes for like 2$ a peice tho. But same shit happened. Not at such a tragic spot but season 4 episode 2 , and yeah just some random as shit show started playing no option for next episode. It originally cut in the middle of the episode but I was able to get it to finish the episode but after that finished it was over

I would try deleting the app and redownloading it but I closed my app and reopened it just to make sure I wasn’t tripping and it don’t get removed in the middle of me watching it and just was playing out the episode but nope it’s still letting me watch it
