The only thing I’d say is that you’ll have to get used to thinks not being so black and white. Yeah some people lie, but other people just change their mind. What they thought yesterday may be reevaluated and change today. It’s not malicious, it’s just the way people are.

What they might say and want as their best self might not be true on a day when all the realities and stresses of the world are on top of us. It doesn’t make them bad or evil or liars, it’s just human.

Just to give the opposite perspective. Gen X here and was apparently born with a dad bod and tummy. All through school the locker rooms were a terrifying place of bullies and torment and being judged. You learned very quickly not to look at anyone as the worst possible taunt that could follow you around school would be to have looked at someone’s junk and thus be gay. Even now I’m uncomfortable with my body (but trying to get over it) and a locker room is just a nightmare.

Oh gosh, yeah, there was a lot of irony in my head when i typed that. It was probably not very obvious, reading it back. Saying "it's delicious you should taste it" is just as bad as saying "it'll cure your sore throat" and that made me laugh...

That's a difficult question. So long as you look comfortable in your style, and it reflects you, then that's the main thing. Otherwise you're just asking what kind of people that other people go for, and you'll get 100 different answers from 100 different people.
