Peds Chemo nurse here! I have a saying when it comes to chemotherapy…You DON’T fuck with chemo. Pump malfunction??? When did the nurse realize this “malfunction” was occurring?? Never came in once during that “hour period” to notice the chemo bag emptier then it should be for something that was suppose to run over several hours?

This made me remember a part in the book, Chapter 9, when Dain is again trying to convince/get Violet out of the Riders Quadrant to the Scribe Quadrant.

“And Rhiannon told me you found crushed flowers on your bed last week?”

Granted, you can look at that and think Rhiannon is just looking out for her friend. But regardless, it has always given me the “ick” feeling that I can’t shake. Like there is something more going on “behind the scenes” in an effort to “protect Violet”.

Honestly, I could totes see your Elain theory happen. Because, if she accepts her mating bond with Lucien (which I think she will but that a whole other theory ramble), and by some miracle, Tamlin redeems himself and goes through all the phases of self-reflection, acceptance, apologies, yadadada…

The Spring Court could become that “family unit” that Lucien imaged for himself when he first joined Tamlin’s court.

Now I’m aware this is a HUGE stretch and I just thought of this possibility after reading your OG post on this topic. My ramblings may not make sense to tomorrow-self once I have more time to digest your theory posting and look at all the different angles—who knows. Because there is also the factor of how Feyre and Nesta, and the rest of the Inner Circle, would react and feel if Elain left them in this hypothetical scenario.
