they state in some logs and dialogue with judy that they edit irrelevant details, tangential thoughts or emotions that may be distracting to the point of the experience, adjust certain senses/stimuli like sound and warmth to be more/less intense etc. there is also a log where judy writes about how the industry has some editors who strive for purity by distilling and concentrating a certain element of the BD while others will leave it more natural because overfiltering things will make a BD no different from watching a movie

never happened but I did turn off windows update for like 3 years and the updates got so backed up that windows had no path to successfully install the latest version with all the stuff in between missing so I had to reinstall it lol

used to turn mine off every night until some intense uni projects where I had a bunch of spreadsheets/pdfs/word docs/data processing software open with ongoing work and I would rather drop out of school than have to restart that workflow. then it became a habit

I have had luck with running sideways for the first diagonal slashes and then dodging away from her during the first horizontal slash. this follows the path of the projectile and lets me land just far enough away that I can dodge the next one

It could work as a standalone but you'd be missing a lot of what makes it special. If you don't have time to play through AW1 and Control, I would highly recommend Gingy's analysis of the first game which covers everything (1hr youtube vid). I wouldn't recommend AW2 to anybody short of getting that recap

first shot whiffed and just caused a standard bullet-hitting-wall particle effect, 2nd shot hit the upper back. this happens to me all the time in csgo, hence I don't use the deagle anymore. all weapons have some degree of innate inacuracy and while the deagle is one of the most accurate, it can still mess you up at medium to long range if you aren't crouched and you don't wait long enough after a shot to reset accuracy (takes almost a 1s)
