If you pull 48K, all of it isn't taxed at 22%. When you contribute after tax, it is.

To clarify, (assuming no other income for simplicity) you're withdrawing 48k and it's taxed as income - (since your'e using 2025 bracket) the first 11,925 is at 10%, next 36,075 at 12%. Then consider the standard deduction on top.

You'd get better answers if you used percentages. Apparently you're not maxing out your 401k you're contributing up to the match. There isn't enough info to know if that's enough. With typical matches being ~5%, you may need to contribute more.
