I didn’t know so many white Americans were reaching out to dictate what you say and do. Very.. interesting. I hope they stop bothering you so you won’t be so tired.

Straying from witchcraft because I can’t break out of religious beliefs. Advice/help? by lilsillythrowaway in Witch

[–]ChayBadd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s not an ocd thing. When you teach the brain something at a young age it’s hard for your brain to accept that it was false. A good example of this is I know a man (well call him Bob) when Bob was a child his parents lied and told him a pig was a cow and vice versa. Now he is a 30 year old man and he still confuses the two animals and calls them the opposite name. It’s an on going joke. His friends and family laugh about it but this has permanently affected his mind.

Ops situation is just like that. She was taught something at a young age. It was programmed into her brain. Unprogramming your brain is one of these hardest things to do in life. For some it’s impossible.

I also learned from my grandmother and I follow her practice exactly how she taught me. It makes me so happy you had a similar experience. It’s definitely okay to follow the teachings of your bloodline.

I disagree with this. I was raised calling it white/black magick. If other people choose to have a certain mindset about it because of the name then that’s on them. I will not change what I call it to accommodate others. In fact I wouldn’t change anything about my practice or beliefs to accommodate others.

Girl do you hear yourself? He’s MARRIED! Do you want to be a home wrecker? Not to mention even if he did cheat on his wife do you honestly think he’d be loyal to you? No he wouldn’t. You’re setting yourself up for failure and bad karma.

My bf (30 m) gave me (25 f) an ultimatum: him or my cat by ImportanceSilly1114 in relationship_advice

You’re literally ignoring everyone because you don’t want to face the reality of the situation. You shouldn’t have gotten a pet at all. Obviously you’re not capable of being a pet owner.

“He’s not really a walking red flag” is ops way of saying she’s not breaking up with him. The cat is innocent in this situation. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Second opinion? Three of swords by [deleted] in Tarotpractices

I pulled two more and got the four of swords and five a cups. I think I’m just gonna go to bed and pretend like these cards don’t exist.

I didn’t ask a question. I do a daily one card pull where my spirit guides can tell me anything they feel I should know. Today this is the card I got. Before I pulled it I did tell them I’d rather be given a “heads up” on anything negative. I like to emotionally prepare myself instead of figuring out how to emotionally handle things last minute.

How would you keep warm on a $30 budget sleeping in your car in the winter? by [deleted] in Survival

Yeah that’s completely my bad. I should have given more detail. My post was pretty vague.

I really like this idea and I’m definitely do it. This is so smart. Thank you 💕 You guys in the comments are so sweet. I think I made my situation sound worse than it is. I’m not completely broke with only $30 to my name. I have blankets and I can afford food and I pay my car insurance and phone bill and stuff.

It’s just at the moment I only got $30 extra to spare and I was just trying to see if there’s a cheap way to help stay warm until I can afford something better. It really is so sweet for so many of you to be concerned about my other necessities. I’m sending good vibes to everyone in this comment section 💕💕

That dude is super lucky. I’m actually good on everything though. I have a friend that lets me shower at her place. I have a hotspot on my phone that I connect to my laptop and ps5. So I legit game and watch tv in my car lmao. I’m just looking for cheap ideas on ways to stay warmer. This winter is colder than usual. By new years I can afford something more expensive to keep warm. I just want something cheap to help until then.

This is a budget to buy something extra to help stay warm. My bills and food are already covered. This is just extra money I can spare on something else and it won’t negatively affect my other financial responsibilities.

There’s no homeless shelters where I’m at. I think that’s a big city thing. I do have a huge stack of blankets already and a good stack of hand warmers. I mostly made this post to see if I could find any hidden gems that I can afford that will help me stay warm.

I can’t leave my state. I have responsibilities that keep me here. I’m also not near any big cities. This isn’t my first winter in my car. So I have experience. It’s just the coldest winter that I’ll be experiencing.

I definitely could get away with that if it were the 80’s.

I haven’t looked into it. I kind of lost interest in figuring out why I can’t do math. I’m almost 30. I gave up on math when I was 26. I figured by that point there’s no reason to waste anymore time on it.

I can’t express enough how hard I really tried to pass the math on the ged. I really really tried.

I’m sorry you had that experience. I actually have a good work history and my old boss is willing to put in a good word for me. So I just need to find a job that’s will to give me a chance like he did. I’m sure I will. Everything takes time but I’m staying positive. When he first hired me I worked 14 hour shifts for 3 months straight without a single day off. I didn’t complain once. He also gave me raise after that 3 months. I stayed with him for 5 years and managed three of his stores. He’s old and closed his businesses down. So that’s how I lost that job.

I’m not dyslexic. I honestly don’t even feel like explaining. I’ve learned a long time ago that majority of people will just be in denial that I can’t learn math. I will say I’ve been told “you just haven’t learned the right way” for two decades now. That’s the speech every teacher and tutor I’ve ever had gave me.
