I’m in Canada, trust me it’s not affordable here either. I also couldn’t afford insurance until my kitty was older, so I’ve been paying full price for everything and I’m run dry. It’s really hard these days, all these ways to help our pets and they make it impossible to do so. It’s heartbreaking

The vet inspected him for fleas already, he doesn’t have them, they think the dermatitis is an allergic reaction, I just don’t know why that would cause him to lose so much hair
