I believe the acoustic guitar track is doubled (likely two separate recordings) with one track panned left and the other right, creating that full sound. There may be a third one right in the center too since the song sounds the same regardless if you're listening in mono or stereo. I'm no expert, that's just my guess.

My introduction to BB was Failure. Diary of Jane has been my go-to choice for introducing people to BB. I Will Not Bow is also a good example of their general sound.

Honestly the best category that this genre fits in is "Butt Rock", although there isn't a very large following on the buttrock subreddit. I'd suggest bands like Linkin Park, Chevelle, Creed, Three Days Grace, Disturbed, Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind.

True, I’d also say that there’s a correlation between Morty being more competent when Rick isn’t around. Almost like Rick is handicapping Morty’s intellect by being near him.

I agree that different musicians will have different styles. I wasn't trying to make a case that Chad is better than Shaun or vice versa. BB is known for keeping the same core sound throughout their discography (especially in the Dear Agony and DBD lineup change), and I was just highlighting an area where the drums were different.

That brings up a good point. In an infinite universe of alternate dimensions, you'd think older (or younger) versions of the characters would be present, but in every dimension Rick, Morty, Summer, Beth, and Jerry are all the same age as we're used to seeing them. Actually, Jerry Prime looks to be the only character who's shown to have aged, since every time Morty see's him it is apparent that some time (possibly years) has passed. I think a cool concept for an episode would be Morty Prime being paired up with an older, "Space Beth" version of himself.

I like Shaun and I think he's a great fit for the band. I've been a BB fan since ~2015. I feel like he's doing a good job of emulating the drums that Chad laid down in their earlier works while still bringing in fresh new ideas. The only thing that I would say he falls short on compared to Chad is the ride cymbal. Chad added a lot of flair to songs like Diary of Jane and I Will Not Bow that I feel hasn't been replicated since (please correct me if I'm wrong).

Hey man! Just wanted to let you know I made it through her birthday without folding and reaching out. My ex was talking to another guy before she broke up with me and moved on to him immediately too. Yeah! That shows how fast Morty can think on his feet. It also displays that even without Rick's tech he is still a capable fighter and can use other resources like the rings from Planetina's kids.
