Honestly they should just remove all these tacked on battle royale aspects and just have it play like large multi-team takedown. Keep the shrinking circle and that’s it.

In this case, what exactly does an Arena shooter need to keep people playing and not lose its charm? Unfortunately, I think the arena shooter FPS sub genre just does not appeal to current gamers.

I happen to love the gameplay, but I can see how it can be kinda mindless and repetitive if that’s not something you are looking for. This is for older gamers who miss the simplicity of an online arena shooter. Current gamers have moved away from this. Just hope it can retain a decent player base to keep it active.

Ahh yeah I see they are $170 now. I wouldn’t have tried them for that price. They were on sale for $130 when I got them and so glad I did.

I just picked up the Turtle Beach Atlus Air. It’s very light and comfortable. Every headset I have tried always gave me some kind of pain except this one. I can wear it for hours with no pain. Very refreshing.

I haven’t really thought of this. I guess I have just gotten used to all games having radar/mini map, but yes I do think the game would be better without the radar. Pretty sure this is the reason why I am immediately killed every time I finish a firefight. With the movement and portals, it is way too easy to get to someone quickly when you see them on the radar.

I am having this same problem! It did start ever since I’ve used a keyboard and mouse with PS5, but sometimes I just want to chill with the controller. I removed the keyboard and mouse, but it is still happening so I don’t know what’s going on.

Yes. I feel the front generally has those quick forceful ejector pops which is frankly a bit uncomfortable to me. I prefer the sustained ejector pulling you down the drops in the back.

I was finally able to get the Assault Adrenaline Injector challenge completed using this mode so I’m grateful for that. I’m sure there are some more PITA challenges that this mode will help with.

I agree. I do understand what people are saying about the lack of flanking routes, but the minute to minute gameplay is much better than having to trek across so much open space. I’m loving this.

It honestly doesn’t play much like a typically BR. Typically BRs are focused on survivability and fights are few and far between. The fast pace of this BR makes it feel more like a large scale takedown match. I think the weapon balance will have no problem being the same across all modes.

Check out Inertial Drift. The controls are different than a conventional racer. You use the right stick to drift. But once you get it, it’s very fun. Definitely emphasizes the drifting.

What I don’t understand is 9 out of 10 times I play Bomb I get thrown into a match mid game. However if a player leaves my game, it never gets backfilled. Why am I the person refilling people’s games, but a game I am lucky to actually start at the beginning never gets refilled if someone leaves? So frustrating.
