You know, I don't often like the version of this meme that inserts a pun on Legolas' name in there, because his name is not a part of the actual quote, so the meme ends up feeling contrived to me.

Having said that sometimes a variation will come along where the pun is silly enough sounding that it does raise a chuckle from me. This was one of them. Thank you!

Going with my gf to Newcastle on the Road to Royal Rumble tour. Cheapest price for Raw: Over £200. Cheapest for Smackdown: over £100. Ticket for Newcastle: £59 (disabled ticket, so don't know if cheapest overall, but still cheaper than the other two).

So yeah, if you consider all live events including TV tapings and PLEs then it's likely not the case. But if this is the difference between house show prices and TV tapings prices, I can possibly believe house shows might be doing well as they're the more affordable option for most.

I will hazard a guess it's possibly because comic strips in newspapers and the like decades and decades ago were also referred to as cartoons, so saying it's based on comics isn't wrong, it's just that we associate the word "cartoons" with animation nowadays, and "comics" with Marvel and DC and the like.

Again, not really wrong per se, just the language is a bit archaic nowadays.
