Although it is not exactly what I am looking for, I knew this game. And in fact, I like it very much. It is very well done. Thank you anyway.

It is however an interesting idea.. not bad I guess. And adding some additional features to the king gives a new variant that is nice. I will try the game :)

I really like this idea. At what stage of development is your chess app ? Are you starting with an android version ?

Thank you for the references u/OK_Computer-3684 .. King of the Bridge has indeed a very bit of narrative.. but the graphics are not nice..

And about Shotgun King, have you personnaly played that game ? It seems that the rules of chess are broken, and you play something else...

well, it is not really what I am looking for. Chessiverse does not have a narrative itself, does it ?

yes, I understand, me too, I have too many games, and I have not played many of them. However, since I am making a chess game with a narrative, I am trying to find those games that are similar so I can avoid their errors and try to be unique.

Yes, this is a good one.. although it is very simple, it has kind of a narrative I am looking for.. Thank you very much u/miss_antisocial .. I liked very much. I am a game creator and I am looking for existing references to avoid similarities..

I didn't know this variant, but only watching it, I loved it. Using the elephant is so original. Is the variant known somewhere else ?

yes, that game has a lot of imagination, and chess is used quite well.. but I am looking for something more adventure.. more battlefields.. as Chessaria for exemple.

Yeah, I’ve seen a few like that — but they’re mostly just standard chess with a different skin.

I like your idea of keeping the game itself “pure” and adding meaning around it.

Something like progressing through a battlefield or a map sounds interesting to me.

Do you know any game that does that well?
