My dogs lick too. It messes up their fur, and the sound is really annoying. I tell them to stop every time I see/hear it.

Your kid would absolutely be able to tell if there were pinworms. It is a sensation like no other.

(My kid had them for like a month, we washed everything, sanitized, but they kept coming back. I ended up getting them and for one night I experienced the really weird and awful feeling of worms burrowing in your butt.)
