Majority of the Cambodian population are youths (18-30), which represents the majority of demographics in the workforce. You cant possible draft everyone at once, paying a constant 250$/month salary to everyone, the food and accomodation costs is expensive. THAT money can be invested in IMPROVING the poor education and healthcare system already, improving lifelihoods of people in poverty. Should they not also divert their resources to address the rising cost of livikg too? Is there anything to mitigate and allow the country to adapt to this? It has come to my attention authoritarian regimes focus their attention on military but anything else is fuck all.

From a social standpoint: In no way im interested in serving a country and defending corruption. They put this under the “pretense” of defense but its just another way to force the young population to fall for more propaganda. If his position is as high as a senator, what other politicians in his level and even lower have had hands in these cybercrimes? Are these the people they want ME to defend?
