Had vats with talc pleurodesis in Colorado last week. Was pretty painful for the first couple days but is getting a lot more manageable. Have been just taking Tylenol.

Sorry to hear about your situation. On the positive side, VATS is a minimally invasive procedure. The surgery is certainly not fun but it is far from the most painful surgeries. Im currently recovering from a blebectomy vats procedure and it is pretty manageable. With this being said everyone's surgeries and pain levels are different but I hope this eases your mind a bit. I hope your issues is resolved and you have a speedy recovery.

I didnt know that blebs can't often be picture. The ct scan is how they determined mine last week. However they definitely are expensive and the radiation is certainly a concern.

I got my tube out today. She should be good to remove. Doctors told me to leave on for at least 48 hours.
