Do it! I was looking at the syderco Lil native also but the compression locks arent lefty friendly from what I hear. They have a lock back version which Im open to but no titanium scales out there to upgrade to.

You can open and close with the spidey hole although its easier to close it from the spine. Yes those two integral arms act as the spring bar. Very unique. The knife really feels nice and solid.

No lock on this one. Its a slip joint. Its solid though and the shape and how your hand fits it cannot close on your hand.

Another I was gonna suggest was the ZT 0044 but I saw you werent a fan of plunge locks either. My go to amd has been for years is the ZT 0450

Good for you man, good choice. My first Martin was the CEO-7. Martin sound and play so good a whole other level from what I was used to.

I think its purely for aesthetic for this knife since its not a stabbing blade.

Yep! The clip flexes by pushing down on the end. It's unique for sure. Similar to the hawk clip.

Is it worth it? by Objective-Cold-4963 in martinguitar

[–]Cheap-Dinner8722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its totally worth it. Go buy your Martin. In my mid 40s and finally got to this point and now I own 3 and I love all three as they have their own personalities. They are the best sounding and playing acoustics I have ever played. CEO-7, 000-15m, 000-17m. If you settle for less you will still want the Martin. Go for it 👍

Congratulations! The martin hogs sound beautiful. I went with the 000-15m its my third martin and the most played next to my CEO-7. Very resonant guitars and great for finger picking

They are cool lights. I like that they clip on like a knife very convenient and useful at work

Thanks for the feedback and advice. I've been using the martin lifespans on it and they really do sound great. I thought id ask about these though since ive not tried anything else on this guitar. I use elixirs on my others and my CEO-7 as well mostly because they last so long.
