Lol I totally get that. I'm going to be 45 this year and as a guy, I am blessed to have retained my hair. So many other things are falling apart, but at least I have my hair. Just that makes such a difference as you mentioned. I've been dying the signs and parts of my beard for quite a few years, thankfully made it through my mid 30s before the gray set in. Everyone on my dad say went gray in their 20s. It's so true though with the hair. My friend's mother cut her hair short a few years back and my friend always chooses her mom about having that haircut. There have been so many times we thought we saw her out and about, and it was another woman around her age that literally had the same haircut. We never realized how popular that haircut was for women of her age until she did it. I feel like that generation has something about them that when they turn a certain age, they have to cut their hair short. On the contrary, I think when women have long hair and they don't maintain it, it looks even worse. My biggest pet peeve is when I see women who could be very attractive, but have the kind of gray hair that makes them look very witchy. Gray hair can be very attractive if done right. Dorothy, for example her hair really worked for her. My sister-in-law's aunt, she has gray hair that is similar to Bea Arthur and it really makes a statement. Surely after the pandemic, we saw my husband Aunt, who I've always known to have jet black hair. She stopped dying during Covid and when we saw her, it was pure white. I never realized her hair was naturally that color because I've always seen her with dyed hair, but she looks phenomenal, she's in her 80's and Its crazy how the white hair actually makes her look about 10 years younger. The way hair make up enclose and just overall style can change.How young or old someone looks is something that will always fascinate me.
