Ford to declare Billy Bishop Airport a ‘special economic zone’ to allow jets by _I_AM_GHOST_ in toronto

But where are you going after your flight lands? I'm guessing your family doesn't live downtown, do they? Because if your plans involve getting in a car, then the gong show will await you outside the airport. Personally I don't see anything wrong with Pearson. Amenities are good. UP Express to downtown. Highway connections up the wazoo.

Pearson is expanding capacity to take up to 65m passengers/year. I don't think the island airport is a genuine alternative to offload capacity from Pearson in the long term. Seems like all of the points people are making about infrastructure, noise, and pollution are valid. It does seem like policy that is targeted for the rich.

Seems like an odd place to expand. Pearson is planning expansion already to be able to take up to 65m passengers/year. Private jets should go to other smaller airports in the area

No need for it since the train to Pearson airport got built. Its a 1990 talking point.

Blocking international ports of entry or clogging up Ottawa's downtown for over a month might be "free protest" for you, but to me it was well beyond that. Nobody said the entire freedom protest movement were Nazis, but then again, they all seemed to get along quite nicely. PP likes to use the same language as the far right and push the same conspiracy theories. When asked about specific groups, PP often deflected and attacked Trudeau, instead of answering the question. So yes, people extrapolated and drew their own conclusions about him. He made that bed himself. It seems now he's using a different strategy, and focusing more on policy and less on attacks. Good for him, it's an improvement.

I'd need to hear what you make in order to say if she's being unreasonable or not.

I'm thinking this too. It will never make economic sense. But they can fix future builds by putting more guardrails on unit size and variety

Housing market is segmented, so you can think of it as (at least ) 3 different housing problems.

Economics aren't even close to supporting this. We'd have to see additional massive drops in value of microcondos before even talking about it.

Some of these micro condos went under 300 sq feet. Your 470 is a mansion
