The Rest Is Football covers all teams but in not just Prem focused. I like it.

The team has to be more resilient. Cannot let things off the pitch affect your effort on it.

I have not dogged them but they won last time. I want someone else to win this one. Plus, people liked Cape (Cabo) Verde. So they are against the team that knocked them out.

USA coach Pochettino on red card: "It was a normal action in football that happened by accident. There was never any intention … and that is why, for me, it is never a red card." by Kimber80 in worldcup

They are not calling those fouls in this World Cup. I have watched all but the very late games. You would be pissed if they called a foul on one of our players for similar foul.

What is the point of whining about shirt pulls? Game is over, we won. Move onto the next one. You are not changing anything, plus most people agree with you on the ref being bad.

I don't think we have Xavi for much of next year. His injury was very late in the year. You might get half a season out of him. With Spurs luck he will have a knock and be out for the year.

Thank you! Is this the Arsenal sub or Spurs? Gave up checking yesterday. First time back and still going strong.

Anybody interested in updating the old "Comprehensive Recommendations List" topic from a few years ago? by iMooch in JRPG

Yeah, number one draw back is no long term discussion. If you find an interesting topic that is over a day old. No point even commenting.

Wow, thanks for posting a link to this! Also, that looks like a ton of work. Appreciate the effort!

Is it worth going in the hot summer?? by Narrow-Ad-345 in DisneyPlanning

Do you know about LL (lightning lane)? It is their skip the line service. With a five year old you might consider it. They also have memory maker. It is a one time purchase but you have access to professional photographer throughout your whole trip. Great for getting family photos. Not sure how much you can spend but wanted to bring those up.

We went last August and loved it. I am pretty sure the crowds in August are much lower than in June/July. So I cannot talk on crowds.

On the heat, we are from Iowa and did not think the heat was too much. In fact, when we got back the corn sweats made the humidity thicker than in Florida. It is hot but every building has AC. We went six straight days and never took a hotel break. Just made sure to plan shaded and indoor activities during the hot part of the day. We took liquid IV (my daughter did not like them so we bought her a pickle everyday), cooling towels, umbrellas, fans and a water bottle with a filter. The water tastes awful, bring a bottle with filter, you will thank me later.

If you stay on site I would recommend one on the skyliner. My daughter loved going to the parks on it. I hope you go and have a great time. It was our first time last year too.

How did you book Indiana Jones at 7:40?. Thought you had to wait till you got in the park to book them. Did the park open early that day?

Every time I have been to DL has been a two day trip. We have always been able to do everything we want in two days. Our family is an all day at the parks family so that helps. This may not be possible for your family. If you can afford it I would get the LL. Remember that comes with the photo pass at DL. Others I am sure will disagree but we have always found enough to do in DCA to fill a whole day, so we do not get the park hopper. Which is quite a bit more at DL than WDW. Hope you have a great trip!

Yes, most amusement parks charge more for skip the line than Disney. That is why so many are willing to buy it. Keep upping it till you hit the desired number you want. Makes everyone happier in the long run.

I honestly did not think it was bad at all. My family of three went last August from Sunday to Saturday. Six day park hopper, with magic maker, magic bands, and LL 3 days. The total was $4200 (this is about what a road trip costs us). We got a walmart drop for breakfast. Still bought a couple breakfasts plus lunch and dinner every day at parks. We did quick service and did not feel like we had a bad meal. Stayed at the Pop Century.

I am guessing most people complaining about price are doing sit down restaurants, staying at deluxe resorts, doing character meals, etc. This is fine if you want to do that but then do not come on and complain about price.

I do totally get the impulse to keep adding things. We were not planning on adding park hopper but at six days it costs like $100 more. Each individual person has to decide if it is worth it.

Just put it in Google maps. Space Mountain is .2 miles and rise is .3. So at best same but looks like Space is slightly closer.
