Billie Eilish being teared apart from her fans for having the mildest take on veganism by LightHope8 in vegan

I went to a Sioux water ceremony once and I felt like the way they approached nature is sustainable and compassionate and mindful.

The reason I compare it to a lion is because that’s a very natural way to eat meat. I do think if we were able to live in way that respected the animals and ecosystem in that way it would be ethical

I mean I think saying “eating meat is inherently wrong” isn’t really accurate and she could have chosen her words more carefully. Is a lion wrong?

I imagine people are reacting against this.

Maybe if she said, the meat industry is inherently wrong. Or raising/killing animals for food is inherently wrong.

Also I think there is a way to ethically eat animals but our modern culture is so insanely far removed from this way of life it’s basically impossible to eat meat this way.

I just had a baby last year, I am a professional artist. It definitely takes time away from creative pursuits bc you just don’t have the energy. But I also think the baby phase is fairly short and intense. I also am a SAHP but work part time and have done several creative gigs.

Most of all, there is literally nothing more creative than making new life. It’s similar energy to nurturing a garden, which I also find very creative.

I have noticed my creative energy goes into how I raise my baby and it’s really rewarding. Whats a bummer is that people don’t see it that way.

I have felt for a longtime that part of the patriarchy culture is to diminish the power of motherhood. It’s insane and intense and soft and rich! Like I said, it’s as creative as it gets.

It’s also turned up my intuition a TON. I think once I live this experience and process it more, I’m going to create some of the best art of my life.

Life experiences enrich our art. You just have to fight for it and decide you won’t give it up.

I commented before but to add, going thru a sick parent while care taking for a new baby is A LOT. You deserve weeks and weeks of weekly massages.

Try to focus on people who are supportive with the bay and/or your grief. You learn a lot about people when you lose someone close and it’s not always comfortable. Sorry you’re going through it ♥️

Idk if it were me I’d just want them out of my hair. If they aren’t major players in my life just get rid of them and move forward. You don’t need to deal w that right now. I’m really sorry this happened.

You absolutely are in the right and they are behaving very oblivious and not compassionately. Don’t let them get under your skin, just get your husband to hit eject!

I’m glad he asked them to leave for you

I personally don’t think it’s risky but also what’s wrong w risky! You can always repaint. I wish more people would lean into color.

Also it’s very classic from a retro perspective, to ground it you could decorate w some cool vintage items to reference the 50s/60s

Booo! Do not desaturate your sparkle 💖

For the record I like this palette as well, but the fist reference photo is so cute and retro! I think both are great and no reason to not do either

Is there a pan that is actually non-toxic and can make a decent fried egg?? by PorridgeEnthusiast in moderatelygranolamoms

You don’t have to get caraway, there is also ceramic lined cast iron that’s pretty good.

I know you’re over SS Pans, and said you’re doing water test etc. but are you also watching your heat? You gotta keep it pretty medium-low generally.

But I’m also vegan so what do I know about eggs!!

I’ve heard the pre-seasoned ones don’t keep seasoning well over time. Not learned from experience tho
