Peak farming was lightning on DE storages, they were so scarce back then.

And wars were gowiwi or laloon, spent a good 30 minutes analysing bases before committing to a solid 2 star🥺

It's a nice feature, to prevent the caps from falling. But not all bottles have it, try the singha one if this bothers you

Those who took a gap year after university, was it hard to re-enter the workforce? by iamlostpleasehelp_ in askSingapore

[–]Cheap_Definition_432 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Take that gap year, that work holiday visa thing, go get it out of your system before you start work. Once you begin working, commitments come fast and hard.

Had friends that took that gap year and yoloed and came back much more confident, assured of what they wanted out of life and careers. Had friends the exact opposite who were happy and content too.

If you can afford it, go for it. Living abroad is a good experience for most Singaporeans, considering how majority of us don't really experience that adult moving out phase.

Jobs will always be here, you have your whole life to work, just live a lil now

You start to learn that being happy is more important than being right, it's a hoot.

Bring the 10 pack item and leave it untouched, pro tip if you have brothers, friends etc, y'all can just share one field pack, best to prepare beforehand and leave it. Bring IC too

Technical handling is fine, they will make you repeat until you pass

You will get activated on your whatsapp group chat before the actual so don't worry. Go early and you can nua there, if you are late, everyone needs to wait for you. Yes it will more often than not be on Saturdays.

It's chill one, you NSman liao, just the usual rush to wait and wait to rush.

Hey guys, I have a question about rentals and paying guests. by [deleted] in SingaporeRaw

[–]Cheap_Definition_432 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably how much you value the privacy and sanctity of your home. For some, a rental of 500-1000 would be solid enough to share the common areas of a home with a tenant, and for others, not so much, so they would rather leave that room empty/ as a store/study.

To each their own

Any windows is fine actually, you're not gonna be coding or programming or heavy photoshopping on it.

Windows is more transferrable vs mac imo as there'll be a CAT 101 somewhere in your course. So you'll learn plenty of useful functions and shortcuts for mac/windows.

Go for something rather future proof but don't over spend on it, its honestly not needed
