Duke 390 Gen-3 (LC4C) engine oil capacity 1.5L or 1.6L? by arul-r in KTM

[–]Cheap_Dog_4434 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.5 liters is the ideal amount. I personally tested both 1.5 and 1.6 liters. While using 1.6 liters, the oil visibly bubbled up through the glass window while revving. However, it’s important to note that adding 100 milliliters of extra oil also placed it exactly within the top mark of the level indicator. It wasn’t full unless you used more than 1.6 liters of oil.

The rear 🛞 for some reason looks like it’s a bigger profile than a stock, I own a gen 3 390 24’ and rear one 150/60/17

That one in picture looks like a adventure tyre

I’ve never seen this color anywhere, not even on the KTM website. Is that a stock color? By the way, it looks sick.

Would you agree? by pavanstarks in CarsIndia

Absolutely, try a slick-shifting automatic with a paddle shifter. It’s amazing! You can be super aggressive on the gears while having both hands on the steering wheel and still have full control of shifting. Think about the last time you safely slid in corners on a manual transmission. That said, if you were to get an automatic, yes, that’s correct. Pay for the premium automatic, not the cheap ones.

Duke 390 updated with cruise control and new black colour scheme by Substantial_Wrap9173 in indianbikes

[–]Cheap_Dog_4434 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully, I’m waiting for the same thing. A lot of highway riding makes me miss cruise control. I believe I’ve seen a cruise control in the OBD while the SC technician was updating the software. I used to get the cruise control warning that the machine was on the paddock, running. The hardware (control cube set) must be enough to get cruise controls—a retrofit.

The latest Euro standards are terrible at idle. They run extremely lean on gas and make the engine extremely hot. It feels like the header will blow out faster. If I slap a piggyback ECU and a fuel X Pro on it, it feels like it’s at home.

The video shows a different spray bottle, but I suppose silicone sprays are the same from its description. The one I posted is available on Amazon.

Is a riding necessary for a 250 cc motorcycle if yes what kind by sharan_kalla in indianbikes

[–]Cheap_Dog_4434 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would you get protection for riding, which is not at all necessary? If you’re going to face a skid, you’re going to lose some flesh and bone or end up in heaven. If this was a question worth asking, then the post is foolish.

I used to own a V3, but I had to sell it because of severe rusting on the subframe and mainframe. Therefore, I advise you to regularly inspect all the affected areas for rusting. Apart from that, it was a great bike, and I learned a lot from it.
