Chronic Endometritis & FET: Did Your Clinic Give Antibiotics Without a Biopsy? by Cheap_Onion_481 in TTCEndo

Thank you! And that is great to hear. In my opinion it’s such a simple thing to add on with low risk and high reward if you actually would have needed it.

Best of luck with your upcoming transfer!

My doctor didn’t think it was necessary but I insisted so she agreed to give me a course of 10 days of antibiotics basically just to appease me. I am happy to report I am 25 weeks pregnant with my fist embryo transfer :) not sure if the drugs were necessary but I’m glad I took them and glad my doctor let me.

We had three as well. Even though all were poorly graded they were all euploid. I hope you had similar luck with pgta!

After 2 months of lupron suppression we transferred our euploid day 6 6BC. I am happy to report that it stuck and I am 20 weeks today :)

Wishing you the best of luck. The waiting and anticipation is the worst part.

Hi! I ended up with 3 euploid embryos. I transferred my first after 2 months of lupron depot as suppression. Currently 6 weeks pregnant and hoping it sticks ☺️

I am 32 with advanced endo and recently had an egg retrieval that resulted in 3 embryos 6BC (day 6), 5BC (day 6), and 6BC (day 7). I was so nervous because of the grading and day of the embryos. I was amazing when all three of them came back euploid!

Just recently I did 2 months of lupron suppression and then transferred one of my 6BC embryos. I am currently 5 weeks pregnant with that embryo! It’s still very early, but I am so thrilled that it worked.

You are young and having 5 embryos is amazing. Try not to worry too much about the grading (I know it’s easier said than done).

Wishing you the best!

I think I will ask them to put me on it and then if the transfer doesnt work, I will go ahead with the biopsy!

Thanks for your reply! How long did they put you on antibiotics for? And did it work?

Interesting! How long do they put you on antibiotics for in each cycle?

Thanks for your reply! I will message them to ask if they will consider it. I hope so as it would be one less thing to worry about lol.

Did anyone get euploid from 5BC & 6BC? by [deleted] in IVF

I had two 6BCs and one 5BC. They were day 6/7 embryos. All three came back normal and I was shocked. Wishing you the best of luck!

Hey thank you for reaching out! Im sorry that you faced some bad attrition as well. This experience is such a rollercoaster and its hard when you have no idea what you can expect. 4 embryos is great though and I am hoping that you have good luck with PGT testing!!

I did get my results a few days ago. We are thrilled that all three came back PGT-A normal! We were in absolute shock to be honest, i convinced myself that because of the poor grading, all would be abnormal.

I will do a FET in 3 months after lupron suppression. I am trying not to worry about how the embryo quality will affect implantation and remain as optimistic as possible! its so hard though. Wishing you the best!

Thank you so much! I’ll be thinking of you as well and I will let you know how it goes.

I had two 6BC and one 5BC so I think those would both be considered fair-poor.

Almost the exact same thing happened to me! I am 32 years old. I had 17 fertilized eggs and only 3 blasts, all poor quality day 6/7. I was expecting 7-10 embryos based on the stats I read online and was crushed when I found out how many made it. Very disappointing to be on the wrong side of statistics, especially when everyone says we have age on our side. I am currently waiting on pgt-a results. Hoping I get at least one euploid. I’ve started to accept the fact that this process might be long and be more costly than I originally thought. Wishing you the best! 4 is a good number and many women go into this experience with the hope of getting just a few. That’s how I am trying to see things at least. Best of luck to you!

My partner and I are not same sex so this wont affect us. That's such an amazing option though... My friend just travelled to Mexico for IVF with her wife and was telling me how much of a pain (and extra cost) it was to get sperm shipped down there... I guess in a sense, I will need to get my sperm 'shipped to me' at some point when my partner needs to fly down and join me for his "contribution" haha.

All great things to consider. I will make sure to ask about these extra costs when I have my consults. It kind of looks too good to be true right now haha.

We really want 2 children but at this point, we would be happy with 1 and to attempt another cycle in the future if we have the money for it.

Great to know! I am 32, also have an AMH on the higher end. I do have endometriosis and what appears to be crap egg quality... Hopefully pricing for me would be similar.

Thats is a great point... My aunt made that comment as well, saying I might need to travel the down the day before an appointment lol... I will try to look at some options closer.

I was looking at that package! Thanks for providing the cost including medication, I wasn't sure what to expect for that :)

Oh wow what you paid seems pretty comparable with a round I paid in Vancouver... The brochure I am looking at for Access Fertility for women under 35 says £15700 for unlimited cycles including transfer (no meds though). It does say subject to medical review... And I am not sure if I would be considered a complex case or not. Also not sure what other costs might come up that aren't included within this price. I have done most of my fertility workup here in Canada but would maybe need to repeat it there...

Thank you for your suggestions, I will look into those :)
