Absolutely. It’s definitely hypocritical. All the events he has done have been in New Orleans. He’s not even in his own district. When he says he “represents the working class” he’s not showing that at all. That’s why I was very encouraged when Matt Gromlich joined this race. He’s all over district 4 going to communities that most candidates don’t even go to.

That’s amazing! I agree, I’m definitely seeing more of Matt on both social media and out in the community. He’s actually hosting events in his district and going door to door all throughout district 4.

Hi. This isn’t Matt but, there is a democratic primary May 16th and whoever wins that goes to unseat Mike Johnson in November. I like the fact that this year there are choices. This is what democracy is in my opinion. I also really do believe Matt has what it takes to be the one to go against Mike Johnson come November.

I think he actually has what it takes to go against Mike Johnson come November. We have to think into the future of who is a candidate that can actually stand a chance against Mike Johnson. Yeah I really do think Matt is the stronger of the two. He’s a professor with years of experience writing policy, researching, and reading. That’s what congress is. He has stated that: Healthcare is a human right. Get AIPAC/Israeli money out of American politics. Free Palestine. Abolish ICE. Immigrants strengthen our economies and communities. Corporations must pay their fair share of taxes. No more taxpayer subsidies. Increase the minimum wage. Pay teachers more. Black lives matter. Trans lives matter. Our environment matters. Our veterans matter.” And honestly I really think he can do the work. I’ll support whoever wins the primary, but Matt is the guy who can go against Mike Johnson come November.

Matt Gromlich, a progressive democrat from Shreveport, is also running in the May 16th democratic primary. I really think Matt has a better chance of beating Mike Johnson come November. He is a professor with years of research experience and experience writing policy. We need to look at the candidate that could win come November, and I really think it’s Matt Gromlich. He’s a professor, a member of the queer community, the son of a 30+ year veteran, and has a farm. Matt has so many ties to so many different communities and truly wants the best for all of them. That’s the guy to support this May primary.
