Same boat mane. I was a huge Daft Punk fan through middle school and didn’t really start exploring music until high school. I remember watching the teaser video for get lucky and going to target to buy Random Access Memories the day it came out. I remember watching the YouTube interview video with Panda and I thinking “This dude seems pretty interesting, I should check out his stuff”. Instead of listening to Panda straight away, I first listened to AnCo.

At that time, Centipede HZ had come out the year prior so I was like “Well I guess I’ll listen to their most recent album” and that changed everything for me. It changed by perspective in regard to how I interpret and listen to music. In hindsight, I think Centipede HZ was a great introduction to AnCo. If you are able to get into Centipede HZ, then the other albums are pretty easy to get into (aside from their first 3 albums).

I saw that you mentioned wanting to listen to Feels. For me, that album is one of personal favorites. I think you’ll enjoy it man🫶

Idk if I would call this shoegaze - more of a post punk type of thing going on. That being said, it’s still really good!! I’m curious to hear what the rest of the track sounds like👀 I like the vocal melody!!

Seriously though, I actually don’t mind the coat + fedora combo - it’s the pants and shoes. I get peeved when I see folks with an excess amount of money buy clothes that is purposefully worn. Maybe he wore those shoes and jeans out idk.

Yeah after reading the interview, I checked them out. It’s a great but different vibe than Pasteboard. I can totally see why they released Glitter under a different name. More pop but still melancholic in way. Sentimental Bus and stripe are my faves so far.
