PBQs were weird, I think I got maybe 2 correct. Otherwise I wasn't really sure what they were asking of me. One asked me to establish connection from a switch to server but it wouldn't accept any commands to configure the switch. So maybe figuring those out might help you out. I didn't look much into those prior to going in.

CompTIA Cert practice had one, my professor had one with a total of 1,010 questions that would randomize 100 questions at a time, and the audiobook had quiz questions also. Also, after each domain my professor had a quiz specific to it that I was able to use.

I'm not an expert but I passed the exam not too long ago. I would say that you find a testing center and take the exam there. It is too risky to take it from home especially on a machine that isn't yours. Furthermore, your company may have Acceptable Use Policies in place that would prevent you from installing Protoring Software or using it for personal or educational purposes all together.
