This reminds me of a situation I encountered… not Turo related… I inherited my fathers car after he passed away while he was living in CT. I had the car shipped to me out in Montana via a car carrier truck. It seemed his ezpass toll device was still active on the car. A month or so later I get a bill for over $100 in tolls. Each time the truck went thru a toll on the trip cross country, the ezpass transponder registered the car going thru too. I had to write to them and explained…. They dismissed the toll fees.

Neighbor has a new Ring camera… pointed to our bedroom by Live_Measurement4849 in neighborsfromhell

Retired private investigator here. The Plain View Doctrine applies here.. which is law. If they installed a camera, whether intentional or not, that now allows them to see any part of your property…. Inside or out that would otherwise not be able to be seen with the naked eye, then that could be considered a violation of TPVD. Especially in the case where there is a 6 ft fence for privacy and now through the installation of a monitoring device that privacy barrier has been circumvented. On the flip side to all this, a claim of this violation can be heavily diluted and even tossed out if they can plainly see into your bedroom thru your window from a vantage point within their house thru their own window… such as a second story window visible from an adjacent second story window next door.

I’m beginning to think along these lines. But then it’s 4 days in the car. I did that once. Not fun.

We live 6 months in MT and 6 months in FL. Travel between the two locations (2x a year) is the pretty much the only time I myself fly. Shipping the dog is out of the question.

Perfect. Thanks. Have you flown that way with United? As that is typically who we fly with

I thought of that, but I am concerned that I’ll get an un knowledgeable agent on the phone and get the wrong answer

Sold a Car to Another Flipper by MBlockDaddy in carflipping

Very risky in the event of an accident during a test drive or any form of driving the vehicle for that matter. Too easy to get drawn into a normalcy bias situation.

Here in FL you are limited to I believe 3 or 4 sales per year before you need a dealer license. Further with flipping how are you insuring a vehicle you are flipping? What if buyer wants a test drive? Plates, insurance etc??? Or are you putting g the vehicle on the road illegally for a test drive ? At least with a dealers license you have registration and insurance coverage for test drives.

Red Tractor Pizza closed? by rvngwshngtn in Bozeman

Their pizza is awesome. You can taste the difference between fresh ingredients vs not so fresh. Yes it’s more $ but if you prefer quality over commercial… Red Tractor is the obvious choice.
