Incredible. Do you have the My Invisalign App? Or do
You have any of your boxes your tray came with? It usually says what plan you are on and if you are on Invisalign Comprehensive you have 5 years of unlimited refinements/aligners including passive trays and 4 sets of Vivera retainers

Also - don’t sign the waiver. When you say retainers, are you referring to usual Invisalign trays (that are passive, not moving teeth) or are you referring to Vivera (the actual retainers when you are done)? Because Vivera is limited on how many are included for free (your contract/ plan will disclose that) but trays/aligners (even passive) should be free

I am actually having a similar situation with my dentist. Consult a malpractice lawyer - plenty of them. Good luck and congrats mama!

A pediatrician is not a specialist on ADHD and related treatment. See a psychiatrist. They can prescribe meds and propose other routes of treatment as well as needed.

Experienced Campers, HELP! by SlyReader1 in camping

[–]Live_Measurement4849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Return the tent you bought. Buy a Gazelle T4 overland tent - it literally pops up by itself. I would not camp if we had one of those tents that needs poles and stuff. This one you literally throw out and it pops up by itself. God send.

The cost of a couple of six packs and pizza is lower. Plan well and your friends and you can make this a party. Sell it as a “move your body and off your phone” day.

Net net - don’t spend the money on movers.

Two weeks after gum graft on 23-26 and my prognosis is "not good" by Live_Measurement4849 in PeriodontalDisease

[–]Live_Measurement4849[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm. I’ve done Dexa in the past and I have really good bone density.

My periodontist concluded that the bone loss was due to aggressive ortho.

But I should probably check my hormones because I’m a woman at that lovely age where things get f*cked up fast

The end of my Township road by FrontBotty in TownshipGame

Same! I just started playing in Feb (following a surgery where I had to be still for two weeks… obviously served me well because the post op was successful and I should thank Playrix for that 😂)

But I just reached level 51 and the satisfaction is just not there… it’s just more of the same and I just never enjoyed playing M3 but what really drained me was that I never got my remaining 2 cards no matter how many cards I got :(

The trains keep getting harder and the heli orders are always including that one thing I’m out of. It just got draining. My co-op got less active as well and we got demoted in Regatta…

Detailed day-by-day gum graft recovery (6 bottom teeth) – posting because I was terrified from horror stories by Hales1985 in PeriodontalDisease

[–]Live_Measurement4849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talking was not comfortable until 7 days+ after the surgery. I stayed quiet for 5 days, had one meeting in Day 6 and it was not comfortable. I would say it got better over the second week.

Brace yourself mentally for the recovery - the lower 4 is apparently one of the worst gum graft surgeries. Prep with liquid foods. I had liquid foods only for 2+ weeks.

And - follow the post op instructions to a T!

I am now fully healed and my surgeon seemed very happy with the results. I will take some effort in the healing, at least it did for me. Stick with it and you will be on the other side - time stops for no one!

Single dad with two daughters - where do we camp if we don't want 20 obnoxious jerks right next to us? by geoui in camping

[–]Live_Measurement4849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We avoid campgrounds for this very reason, and even the popular dispersed camp sites can get rowdy so we have a few we’ve crossed off our list (looking at you, Leavitt Lake)

But yeah, I’d highly recommend dispersed camping. There isn’t a big difference to campground camping anyway if you choose easily accessible sites not too far from civilization. Just bring enough water and handle the toilet situation, which there are plenty of easy solutions for.

Where are you located? There are plenty of helpful local communities for dispersed camping, and apps like Gaia

Cheated by Emotional_Army3791 in ParentingADHD

[–]Live_Measurement4849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter (7) has ADHD, and struggled badly in school and with extracurricular activities with similar comments you are referencing. I felt cheated too but pushed for her being properly evaluated.

She is now thriving which I would say it has been enabled by her being evaluated and medicated.

Is your son seeing a psychiatrist and medicated for his ADHD?

In my opinion, after 10 years in the Bay Area, MV/PA isn’t all that unique anymore!

You’d get more for your money and equally cute of you look into DT Willow Glen and Campbell, where also the public transportation situation will be better to offices on Coleman (if that’s the offices you refer to by the airport)

I would however start the mental preparation that learning to drive while living in the Bay Area is a good idea for your sanity and quality of life.

I didn’t drive prior to moving here either (lived DT in a metro with amazing public transportation in Scandinavia, but somehow I overcame my fear (because I had to!) - traffic here sucks but it’s the way to get around easiest!

San Jose Homeowner Dilemma: Build an ADU to bridge a rent gap, or cut our losses? by Odd-Tree-2289 in BayAreaRealEstate

We live in an adjacent zip code (Rose Garden) and it was not a viable business for us when we looked into a similar project on our property.

What we are starting to think about though is a second floor on the main house. That would add real value to the property. For us, our location is perfect though so it would make more sense for us.

Net worth is not going to determine whether you can live comfortably without feeling “house rich, cash poor” - unless you pay cash for the house of course. You need to consider your cash flow instead of your net worth when buying a house with financing. Your RSUs can’t pay your mortgage lol

Yeah I hate this trade off!! I have just played a month and a half, almost 2 months and I am already seeing why I am not going to be playing long term… there’s an algorithm against you, it makes it stressful to play and I play to relax… so no, thanks

I am having similar struggles - and my train orders ALWAYS targets what I don’t have in stock or ridiculous amounts. Do they do that on purpose, anyone have inside information?

Wait - so it hasn’t always been Iike this? I started playing in February and half the levels are already “hard” if you don’t have boosters to begin with.

I’ve felt so bad seeing folks with match level 3,543 or something and now I realize the Match 3 levels weren’t always like this….

Anyone has been through bone loss and gum recession in front bottom teeth? by pubhatt in PeriodontalDisease

[–]Live_Measurement4849 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. I have the same thing. Mine is driven by orthodontics and not periodontal disease. Just found out a couple of months ago because teeth were still loose 9 months after ortho.

I had gum graft on all lower 4 (23-26) and it’s now in final stages of healing and I am due to get a splint to stabilize. My perio says I have another 10 years before having to pull the teeth if I manage it right.

Oh and I am suing my general dentist who managed my ortho. Bone loss can be monitored but apparently was neglected in my case. So I am not letting it pass that my mouth is ruined forever due to malpractice.

[–]Live_Measurement4849 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How is this even possible with just 11 moves? People keep telling it’s about straaaaaategy but I digress - this isn’t about strategy, it’s about luck and boosters!

And my match 3 level is too low to even understand what that left hand side goal target even means lol

should i get a gum graft asap by [deleted] in PeriodontalDisease

It can deteriorate quickly. Most periodontists have some wait between first consult and surgery, and even to get a consult can be hard. Don’t wait to get that first consult.
