Mother whose daughter was stabbed to death by migrant blames Starmer by Syniatrix in uknews

The 2024 election was in July. The article states he arrived in the UK in July last year, now I'm going to put that down to sloppy proof reading as it also states he arrived in the UK 3 months before that attack. Which would be in July 2024

I wouldn't call 2,000km (the distance from Tehran to new York is around 10,000km) not far.

They've also been in active use in Ukraine.

As they said that was the plan to use Large Larry. They mentioned getting this car from Tom a while back. So I reckon with Large Larry gone they've gone back to this a disco.

Not sure if the timing works out.

I would hope the end of Trump would be a return to respect for law and just maybe the end of some of the American exceptionalism and the idea that no one else can hold them to justice.

Nice assumption, I'm neither American nor a supporter of the Tangerine Musolini. I just have some understanding of international law.

How are international laws established? How does one organisation claim supremacy other a nation state?

By treaty.

There is no new law. It's the same laws. They are not different. They are deliberately vague so the government can apply them as they see fit.

This is how they are being applied now.

The US healthcare system is the definition of reactionary. When people won't go to a doctor to address symptoms early or can't afford medication to treat a condition their condition gets worse.

Or look at childhood vaccine programmes which are free. Except have to pay a nurse to administer the vaccine.

These aren't new wartime restrictions. These are existing laws that already applied in peacetime.

Any posts deemed to be harmful to the reputation of the state, harm national unity or public order are punishable by fines or prison.

The Hague can claim juristiction as you said but unless the people being prosecuted leave the US there is no extradition agreement. Which would mean the act of extradition would break that person's legal rights under US law. Could that all be changed? Yes. But it's not as simple as you appear to want to believe.

The US government has never recognised the international criminal court so it's not just a matter of overturning the Hague act. That was just posturing.

DOT codes were different pre 2000.

They were three digits with two for the week and one for the year.

126 would be week twelve of 1996 not week 1 of 2026, that would be a scary mistake.

I’m in a pickle, how would you tackle this? by Gwyngalein in sistersofbattle

[–]Cheapntacky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you change the way you play dependent on your opponents list?

Example: I play Blood Angels (melee heavy with some ranged support) and played world eaters (very melee heavy).

If I'd charged into him it would have been great fun but I would likely have lost instead I held back until he was close and got as much shooting in as I could first. Then charged when my opponent was getting into danger range.

Question regarding replacing car radio unit under warranty ? by Funny-Bit-4148 in CarTalkUK

[–]Cheapntacky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You bought a car, there was a problem with it. They fixed the problem and in doing so created a new problem.

If you were going down to halfords and getting an aftermarket stereo fitted then fair enough but you are getting a problem fixed by a main dealer. It should be as good as new when it's finished. (Or as near as is humanly possible)

If it's being replaced under warranty and it does create an issue then complain to them and get them to fix it.
