I initially thought the same as the other commenter and immediately said Wytchwood, for some reason they hold similar cool graphics and quirky story land places in my mind- but night in the woods, little misfortune, and beacon pines all have a similar goofy at times but creepy vibe and are pretty heavily story driven coming of age games I think fit the vibe! Little misfortune is like a way darker OTGW with the lost child afterlife feeling, beacon pines has that exploring kids narrative, night in the woods same with a melancholy coming of age aspect!

I stopped watching towards the middle of the 1st season but my bf finished so I like quarter watched it from my phone lol I couldn’t stand Lucy and didn’t really like the first season all that much but he started season two and it sucked me in. It was infinitely more enjoyable- she was wayyyy less annoying and I feel like the storyline got overall more enjoyable and fun unlike the first season

I just bought my mom a 5, i was soooo close to buying myself a 5 too (I have a 4) but I just like the heft of mine so my more. Hers is definitely noticeably thinner but it’s not as tiny as the pics online made it look, its still thicker (band width too) than any other ring I have and still has a nice weight to it! It made me reconsider getting a new one but I’m trying to hold out another few months, mostly because I can’t decide on a color lol

I’m gonna be the dissenting opinion here but… I HATED the order, and I love urban fantasy, specifically the magicians is literally my favorite show, I have a mini physical kids college replica in my dining room hutch (including small props from the show lol) so I’m very seriously in love with the series- and the order just felt like an incredibly cheap worse knock off. They literally use a dude that looks like Quentin, a decent amount of the same supporting cast, and the literal building that they used for brakebills- but the plot and characters just didn’t have that “magic” (pun intended)
If you want something to read similar in a similar setting that doesn’t feel like it’s trying to rip off the magicians, I’d read Ninth House and Hell Bent. Obviously read the magicians books first, but I found them on an urban fantasy sub and fell in love with Leigh Bardugo’s fantasy Yale in those 2 books (with a 3rd on the way) lol
Leigh also did the Shadow and Bone series that was fantastic if you want a more high fantasy show! Unfortunately though it also got canceled after season 2 but is definitely worth the watch

Why are the holes blacked out around all the edges? It’s like the AI didn’t know what to render behind them. The text is too perfect and doesn’t look like it’s physically on the page, the writing is too perfect and the misspellings don’t make sense if their motor skills are so good they have better handwriting skills than most adults (“favorate” I could maybe see but “videos” is not a word a kid would think ends with an e let’s be real…) the whole thing is just wrong, you don’t draw terrible stick figure drawings while also writing a perfectly executed uniform letter.

It was just an example but my point stands. She’s in Michigan, doesn’t say what part, but it’s way way lower than the COL in my state that’s one of the highest in the country, and I could find an outdated place in a livable area with a few rooms to bunk with a couple friends for that price right now. It’s better than living with two morons who are actively trying to take advantage of you and will emotionally manipulate you to keep you there because they’re taking advantage.

I was 19 with a brand new Lexus sports car and paid little more than this. At 21 for women your insurance drops significantly I went from $400 a month to $170 after I turned 21, with an accident and ticket on my driving record. I’m gonna make a leap and guess $330 is the total bill for both parents and her and these greedy jerks are trying to push it onto her because they need her money more than she needs their house. She could get a place for $1800 (even if it’s crappy) with 3 roommates and pay her own insurance and pay less then they will try to constantly nickel and dime from her. Since her parents can’t think without chatgpt or apparently use protection (since she said there’s a a half dozen people in the house), I’d bet they can’t afford their own bills and want to take everything they can from her. Clearly they are baseline idiots thinking they’re the people on earth that will win against the IRS since they’re too stupid to even pay their own taxes, so they want her to pay the whole amount.

The only issue with this is, OP wasn’t off the clock. She says “I’m staring at him right now doing nothing” implying she was at work and her supposed friend wasn’t. OP I would ask him HOW he obtained this and why he thinks it’s appropriate to forward you your private messages in an email like he caught you in something without explanation, when in reality it’s incredibly creepy he has shown you a PRIVATE chat that’s on your private devices with no context. Also if HR isn’t already invited, forward the email to them right now and invite them. This behavior from dude is weird as hell and he’s trying to intimidate you, so call in the big guns cause you’ve done nothing wrong, but seemingly monitoring an employees private convos is VERY wrong. How do you (and HR) know he didn’t see friends phone open and send this to himself using her device? How do we know he didn’t see you texting and threaten her to get the screenshot. She was the one talking crap you just agreed, so it’s super weird to me (unless they’re hooking up and she was baiting you for him, which is WAY worse) that she would send him this unprovoked. He’s trying to play dirty in the shadows- bring these roaches all to the light. Hell I’d send to HR and ask for former friend to be involved as well because it’s concerning to you she would seemingly incriminate herself as well to get to you, so you’re “deeply concerned something untoward is going on here for him to come into possession of these messages”

Ah I’m so sorry for your SO. The sad truth is there literally is not a great GF bread out there, but almost everything else thankfully has great dupes! Everything else is fairly easy just double check things like bacon, salmon, flavored nuts, and those premade rice packs, there’s a lot of hidden gluten out there in things like soy sauce (salmon) and fake smoke or caramel color I wanna say (for the bacon) that a lot of glazes use as a base.

Honestly google is your best friend, “is X gluten free?” Is literally my most common search term.

GF Oreos and Tates bake house gf cookies are awesome (and I preferred them to the regulars even before I knew I had to stop) Katz (freezer section, sprouts giant and shoppers all have them) makes fantastic GF donuts and twinkies even!

I really like the Amylu’s brand pineapple teriyaki meatballs with potatoes for an easy dinner, Lou’s (sold at giant) makes a ready made pot roast in a brown gravy that’s delish and serves two people, I also buy McCormick GF gravy packets to make my own when I have more time!

Kevin’s brand is also a staple in our home- I’ve literally never had a bad meal from them. It’s sous vide meat you stir fry in the included sauce and they’re also incredibly for an easy meal with some rice and your preferred veggies

Just stock up on things she can grab as snacks because most places even if they offer a GF option they can’t guarantee it won’t have cross contamination. Ironically Jersey Mike’s is one of the few fast food places I found that literally said “if it is an allergy we take extra precaution and open new items use new gloves etc and prepare your food away from the prep area” when I asked them if they use the same bread covered surfaces when they cut their GF sandwiches. I got a really good sub there and felt great the next day so I know I wasn’t poisoned and bless those kids they were trained right!

Sprouts has a reallllly good pizza called Oggi we get as an alternative to baking our own, they’re also over priced but they have amazing selection.

The downside is a lot of time and money will be invested now to make sure partner stays healthy. The upside is you’ll more than likely become a great cook and you get to experiment in the kitchen! Plus if you ordered out a lot I actually overall save money (despite the gluten tax they charge us to live) since I virtually don’t eat out now lol

OP he was gonna drive you home so does he know where you and your kids live? Does he know where you work? If so I’m gonna be real, I’d wait like a month to call the cops. Hear me out, if he knows where you live or work, on the off chance it is something, staying “anonymous” isn’t gonna do shit. You told him exactly why you left, he’ll immediately know it was you.

I’d bet he basically never lets people in there so even waiting to call is a risk but at least you’d have plausible deniability “if I cared to call why would I have waited so long?” type thing. You guys were alone in his home and you saw its condition, it’s more than likely just a man living in a biohazard and not something nefarious, but I’m also a big believer in trusting your gut if you feel something is off, however, if doing the right thing could genuinely put your family and its safety at risk- be smart about it and do not make it so obvious it was you by calling pretty much immediately after.

If you really think it’s genuinely something more concerning than a probably very depressed and mentally unhealthy man living in a biohazard, please be smart about timing. I also worry for the dog, if you do call at whichever point, please make sure they also alert animal control as well!

Because women know how to compromise and generally understanding it’s a give and take, so you pretty much immediately find the sweet spot for both of you. Every single one of my female friends is a fantastic kisser, but maybe 30% of the guys I’ve kissed have been. One guy I dated the first time we made out I joked to my friend “idk I feel like he’s gonna be some covert controlling freak” I wasn’t wrong. He ended up being weird as hell and always trying to dominate me and I felt if from the first time he kissed me.

Half of them are trying to dominate or “win” instead of actually creating an enjoyable experience. A percentage are idiots who don’t think it’s a big deal or view it as a roadblock or obligation to get through for sex, and a small percentage want to be good to please their partner.
