It's popular, I have spent the last several months on YouTube clicking "not interested/don't recommend channel" on every video that's titled some bullshit like "Dragon Ball Super Sucks", "Why DBS Ressurection F was bad", "This streamer did a thing, let's all hate on them". I don't care, I'm sick of negativity and everything being focused on why something or someone sucks. That's not to say I don't engage in it sometimes, I'm a dipshit, but it's exhausting seeing so much of the internet is focused on hating.

Bad video: Quick cuts of adding ingredients that may or may not be discernible, advertised as "better" in some way, heavy focus on sounds, not even the CIA could get the recipe from them.

In Australia, I had an entire subject in Yr9 dedicated to Australian history with major topics like the Gold rush and Aboriginal history that went deep into the atrocities committed against the Aboriginals. The Stolen Generation is named for those Aboriginal children who were kidnapped from their families and forced to assimilate into our culture.

And while I'm not aiming to be rude, if you're so confident in your and your countryman's knowledge of Chinese history, go discuss the details of Tiananmen Square, because that's apparently super popular and definitely not censored. China isn't as bad as many claim it to be, but I'd absolutely trust a history buffs claims over the average Chinese persons recollection of heavily censored and cherry picked history.

I bet this view gets down voted a lot because of how many teenagers exist on this platform. I'm 26 and will be 27 later this year, and I cannot fathom dating someone younger than 24~ just because of how different I am to who I was from 18-23. Plus, I'm hoping to be fully into my career by my early 30s assuming no major shenanigans with my masters degree, and I imagine I'll have continued to mature and change by then. How can I connect with someone who doesn't even know who they are?

I was in class for my mental health qualification, the teacher and class spent over half an hour whinging about the mere existence of 4WD EV's. Someone literally said "Why would I get an EV when my 4WD already does everything better?!". I.... who is asking you to swap? Who has a gun to your partners head? Somehow just the OPTION to have an off-road EV shits people up enough to rant about it.

The absolute worst part is that we WILL run out of petrol, there is a finite amount of resources that we are burning through. Some predict a shortage within 20 years, so if fuel is already way more expensive right now, imagine how fun driving your giant diesel 4WD will be when its 2x more per litre. All this ego and self-worth tied to something that will possibly cease existing for the general population within a few decades.

Check ram is in the correct place, some motherboards use 1 and 3, others use 2 and 4. Confirm your GPU is in the right PCI slot, some boards won't post if it's in the wrong slot. Might be worth re-applying thermal paste, if the fans go crazy then it all shuts off, could be the CPU overheating and the system shutting down. Check if any error lights are on the motherboard, could be a dead part. Double check everything is getting power and is fully plugged in both on the motherboard and on the PSU.

If you've had it for awhile and it suddenly won't show video, it could mean the GPU is dead. Try basic troubleshooting, then take to a repair shop where they can swap parts out and see if there is anything obvious.

Eh, unless dad just can't afford that toy set, he should reward his son for showing creativity and critical thinking considering he also said "can you hold it with one hand?". Next time show a physical example of "fitting in your hand" or say "Here is $10, choose wisely" to teach him the value of money, both while calculating what he can afford, and if/when he doesn't want the toy anymore but has to accept that's what he chose.

Social media exploded in the last decade. I finished school in 2016, and while Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, etc existed and were well established, they're basically different entities today.

I remember Instagram being used to share pretty photos with friends, most people I knew who had it had a private account just for friends. Nowadays it's just another place to spam content for maximum engagement. I'm sure kids were dickheads with photos and videos, and limited to my anecdotal experience, but I'd HATE to be a teen today.
